Also, just note that I am new to the threads and I literally didn’t realise there was an ideas and suggestions section. If somebody knows how to move the thread over I will gladly respect that. Thank you. I was laying in bed, wondering about BeamNG, then I thought “What car ideas would work well in the game?” So I made this thread so professional Beam modders can use my ideas to create mods. I have split these ideas in 9 different categories: - Normal cars - Unique/Rare cars - Weird, but cool cars - Goofy Oddballs - Heavy Machinery/Semi’s - Vintage/Classic/Really Old cars - Motorbikes - Concepts - Racing Vehicles Each category would have 4-6 or more ideas. NORMAL CARS Smart ForTwo Now I know this is a car people might hate, but why not show your hatred for the ForTwo by crashing it at high speed? Considering there isn’t any Smart mods on the forum (at least from my knowledge) and some of you might know about that one crappy mod on ModLand (This isn’t a hate comment on the website and its owner). Anyway, I would specifically like the 450 and the 451 models in the game and it would be very cool. Ford CD3 Platform (Mazda) As a Mazda fan, I really like the Mazda CX-9 (Model Code TB) and Mazda 6 (GH1, GH2, GZ). Now before you angrily comment and say things like, “You are not a true car fan!” I like the RX-7 and RX-8 aswell, After watching GrogTV’s content (cool dude btw, you should sub to him) I just started to enjoy normal cars more (such as the Twingo or 206) but I still would like to see these two specific cars considering I have them both. Additionally, the GG1/GY model Mazda 6 would be nice too, especially the Mazdaspeed 6 (or Mazda 6 MPS), that would be awesome as hell. A Higher Quality 206 Mod? If you are a fan of GrogTV, you will know about the 206. Possibly the best, and I mean the BEST cars ever made. There are some mods out there but they don’t really include the basic models that were sold (considering most if the mods use the model from NFS Underground). And again, you might know about the low quality 206 mod on ModLand. Just imagine the expression on Grog’s face. He. Would. Be. HAPPY!! Nissan Terra (WD23) A very very cool addition to Beam would be the Terra (XTerra in some regions). Recently, I got one of these and they are very nice (though it used the badge before the current one was made). I understand the fact that people are hating SUVs but I personally love this car, it would be very cool to drive the very car own in Beam (I bet thats every Beam players dream). This car isn’t special, but thats why it is in the normal cars category anyway. Its just a normal, everyday car. Hyundai Tucson (JM) 2005-2009 You might know that Hyundai’s are ubiquitously stolen from time to time, and you are right, they are. But this was before they were known for being stolen. Something about its bulbous plastic bumpers and its ridiculous use of plastic makes it appalling. Though it might not for some, it is still very amazing for me. (And yes, the higher trims have painted parts). Its just basic as hell, and I like it for that. Do you enjoy bulbous plastic? Mazda 2/Demio (DY) Another car that really touches my heart just like the Ford CD3 platform Mazdas up above. I would really, really appreciate it if somebody were to add these cars in game because they have a soft spot in my heart. Unique/Rare cars Proton Juara You might be searching around this thread or Google for answers about “what is the Proton Juara?” Well, its an MPV mainly based off the Mitsubishi Town Box Wide but with a massive, bulbous front end. It somehow is rare although it seems normal, mainly because of low sales which caused its production to end in just 3 years. What a shame. VAZ. Aka Lada’s (2105, 2106, Niva or anything weird) Yes, there is a mod for the 2106, however that is old and additionally, there is the TAZ pack but thats lore-friendly. Something with comparable aerodynamics to that of a few lego bricks would be nice, no that would be a Volvo. We need more Russian car mods in my opinion considering that we have the TAZ pack and that only. Not much to say here just saying that some Russian brick would be nice. Citroen C5 RD/TD If Bugatti can’t perfect the steering wheel in the Tourbillon then Citroen did. It was one of the few cars with the a fixed central hub on the wheel. Tbh Bugattis Tourbillon steering wheel is nice but for some odd reasons some people don’t like it. It would probably be the few BeamNG mods with that type of steering wheel. Its cool. Thats it. A better AE86 mod? Maybe normal corolla? Idk why but I like the 83 Toyota Corolla, and you what means: AE86! Yes we have the AE86 mod made by schumacher which has been kept alive by the community by hotfixes over time. But a basic everyday Corolla would be very awesome along with the 86. Weird, but cool cars VW EOS Such a weird name to choose includes a weird design. The EOS seems normal at first glance, until you look at the roof. It has a sunroof and a cnvertible hardtop, which is odd considering the fact that it makes more sense to lower the roof other than using the sunroof. Some people might disagree on this fact but I can understand why. If the driver would prefer opening the sunroof other than lowering the roof. It makes sense, but its a convertible, its meant to have the roof down, not the sunroof open. BMW 7 Series (E65) You love it , you hate it, the E65. The ugly duckling of the BMW family (technically also the X3). The E65 is frowned upon BMW lovers but some people might disagree, and I am one of them. I like seeing cars that deserved to never see the light of day in Beam because they are cars that people don’t usually think about, and they are unique that way. BMW X3 As mentioned above, the X3 is ugly. They did sort it out later after the original one released but god was the 1st gen ugly. Side indicators that don’t fit the car, odd taillights, its just horrible. As mentioned in the Smart section, there are people who like to crash them to show their hatred for the car, and the X3 is no different. Renault Twingo (the frog!) We all love it, the Twingo. There is the existent Tango mod by Baconzez, which is the closest to the actual thing but we need a branded version with pre-fl and fl models. A good idea considering the majority of people who would like a branded Twingo. Goofy oddballs Sebring-Vanguard CitiCar The infamous cheese wedge of a car made in the late 70’s. It was an electric “CitiCar” hense the name, and that it could do alright. If we have the Wigeon, the CitiCar would be a very good companion to the Wigeon. The P45 We’ve all watched that Top Gear episode where Jeremy Clarkson made the P45, a step below the P50. Its basically an Quad bike with a weird canopy thing to protect the driver. One of, if not the most goofiest cars to add to Beam. Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Ever felt hungry for the goofiest BeamNG mods? Well I got just the idea! The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, the famous hotdog thing on wheels which was somehow made to promote their products across the U.S. Very funny and probably the goofiest BeamNG mod that could exist. Nissan S-Cargo Oh look! Its and S-Cargo! A snail on wheels and no, it doesn’t produce sludge. Jokes aside, you might be wondering how this car even made it here. Well its funny looking, and so as the rest of its family. It was made as one of Nissan’s 4 Pike Factory Cars which are classic styled cars made in the 1990’s. Wildfire WF650-C If we have the Pigeon and the Wigeon, then why not a modern companion? Lore-friendly or not, this car (or motorcycle considering it has the powertrain of one) is perfect for people who want an alternative to the Pigeon and Wigeon. Being that they are the only 3-wheelers of the game, there must be people looking for something else that has 3 wheels. Duty Vehicles Mitsubishi Fuso Rosa Minibus Minibuses are generally one thing that Beam doesn’t have. Yes, we have the Hirochi Aero but that more of a normal bus than a minibus. The Rosa gets most of its fame around Asia and parts of Africa which basically makes it unheard of in most of the world. Toyota Coaster (B40-50 and B60-80) Another one of those unheard of minibuses (like the Fuso Rosa) but with a rebadge (the Hino Liesse II). Why do I have to add a description, I’m just repeating myself am I? Mitsubishi Fuso Canter God this thing has so many rebadges and different names! And this time, it was sold in the States for a period of time. I can’t really specify each and every rebadge and different name plates (read wikipedia) but yet, light duty vehicles aren’t a mainstream idea in Beam. Volvo FH Series Alright heavy duty vehicles. The FH is probably the most well known truck known to Europe (and the most safest). Most of the people who play Beam agree that the game has no euro trucks (except fot the T-Series day cab which is not even european in anyway). Man TGS/TGX Comeback I bet we all had watched that video upload by Simulator Adventures (sick dude), but unfortunately, the mod was taken down. I’m not going to explain what happened (btw look at Sim Advs video on yt and look at the pinned comment), but we seriously need it back. Vintage/Classic/Really Old Cars Benz Patent-Motorwagen The first car to be an actual automobile, the Motorwagen. It’s cool to have historical automotive history in a sim racing game and the Motorwagen is the start of it, we just need it in Beam. Ford Model T If the Motorwagen was the first car, then the Model T is the first mass produced one. Again, more automotive history in a sim racing game. Jaguar E-Type The successful racing legend and beautifully designed E-Type. Just one of the best car in automotive history, this would be a very, very good addition to Beam not only as a race car, but a sports coupe. Aston Martin DB5 We all know about the infamous DB5 known in the 007 series (specifically Goldfinger). A custom 007 config would be purely amazing, especially with the revolving plates, smoke screen, and many other features. Motorbikes Honda Unicorn Any Middle Easterners and Asians will know about the Unicorn. Used primarily as a delivery bike (in the Middle East as far as I know), it could be useful for career mode as a cargo bike or delivery vehicle. We just need more bikes in Beam tbh. Bajaj Pulsar Just like the Unicorn, the Pulsar is primarily used as a delivery bike in the Middle East. Being that it was made by Indian bike manufacturer Bajaj, it just makes it the first Indian vehicle in Beam (maybe). Kawasaki Ninja H2 and H2R Okay, getting more serious, the Kawasaki Ninja. Basically the fastest motorbike in existence. The H2R is the more serious version of the H2, capable of 300+ km/h (basically the speed of the Devil Z). A crazier bike compared to the already great Hirochi Outlaw (amazing mod btw). Some kind of Harley Davidson Believe it or not, I don’t know much about Harleys. But some sort of Harley would work well as a cool cruiser. Concepts Peugeot Moovie It’s a vacuum cleaner. Unlike the dustbuster vans, the Moovie is somehow meant to be a city car, it just looks like any concept car of its age. Holden Torana Now this is a car the Aussie’s know about, the Torana. Basically what became the VE Commodore. The Torana is just an amazing vehicle concept and I approve of it. Toyota Pod Yes, it’s the car featured in Gran Turismo with an emotional system and AI. A very interesting concept car being that it’s similar to an actual dog. BMW Garmisch The concept that was somehow lost to time which actually is cool. A futuristic 70’s BMW that looks amazing everywhere. Racing Cars Porsche 917K The legendary 917K infamous not only for racing but for the movie Le Mans featuring Steve McQueen. It’s just the best racing cars in automotive racing history. F1 Cars Notably a very important section of this thread is F1 cars. Anything like the McLaren MP4/6 or MCL39 would be a very nice addition. We do have the Carbonworks F4 by LucasBE though thats F4 and it’s slow. The Legendary Calsonic GT-R (R32 and R34) The Godzilla of Group 1 in the 90’s and the R34, known for dominating in JGTC in the 00’s. Paired with the road going versions, these two would be amazing. Renault Espace F1 Technically not a race car but more of a concept, the Renault F1 V10 powered monster was capable of doing what F1 cars could do during it’s time.
