China makes plenty of cool/interesting cars these days:
a ~3000hp electric supercar with active suspension so overengineered it's capable of jumping:

A genuine, in production BEV pickup with a range extender:

    a ~1300kg electric sports car:

    whatever this thing is:

or a typical modern american car:

or a minivan that's stuffed full of technology and makes 400kw

I think any of these would make interesting candidates for vehicles to be added to the game.

Facts, and some welcome additions to Beam could be:

McLaren F1/Mercedes CLK GTR: GT1 homologation car race/road
    Lotus Elise/exige: 2 seat sports car/roadster
Range Rover: Modern unibody SUV with sport and off-road variants/ drive modes
Porsche 911: rear engined supercar. (SBR don’t scratch the itch)
Rolls Royce/BMW 7/8 series, Mercedes S: Flagship model ultra luxury

Traffic cars are the subject of, like, every other post you make (and your signature). If you're accusing the last 15 years of USDM cars of looking 'npc', I can only read that as high praise by your standards :p

    Yeah, that seems... healthy.

They look like shit from GTA. The only good looking american cars (post 2010) are caddies and some fords. Most others are so boring.

They are definitely in a decline but there still has been some really cool cars to come out of america in the past fifteen years.
    -Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing
    -Chevrolet Camaro
    -Chevrolet Corvette
    -Dodge Challenger
    -Dodge Charger
    -Dodge TRX
    -Dodge Viper
    -Ford Bronco R
    -Ford GT
    -Ford Mustang
    -Ford Raptor R

That's all I can think of for now. A lot have been discontinued but the Mustang and Corvettes are still going along with others.

I don't understand people decrying a potential BeamNG car because they have some prejudice against the real counterparts. This is the one game where you can properly torture cars you don't like! If you want to performatively hate on Chinese cars, or EVs, or crossovers, or whatever else, then BeamNG is the best game to do that in.

Speaking of the 2011 Ford Crown Vic and tying back into some update speculation, how likely do we think we are in getting a facelifted Grand Marshal at this point? Personally, I think it's pretty likely since the limousine update dropped out of nowhere last year, meaning that the devs are actively working on the Grand Marshal and at that point had enough content to release just the limo portion.

Might I remind you, the Grand Marshal never got the same treatment level as its other '90s Gavril counterparts as it was the very first vehicle to be remastered.

Plus one of this, I love my 1910s-1990s AUSSIE and US and well most cars really from the old days I do love a stock pre war, BUT china has upped its game,

    OT

While i wonder and ponder about the moonhawk, A wagon 4 door, A sedan 4 door, Add some T-tops ( Convertibles died off around this time if i remember right )

BUT as a aussie a ute Moonhawk would be sweet

AND they where talking RV. So a ute RV seems cool

I would hope that we'd get a facelift for the GM at some point, and it would make a lot of sense. It'd give us another "modern" traffic car without having to make a whole new vehicle. And facelifts have become more common and extensive since 2020. Beforehand, the only facelifts we had were the I-Series (different lights and trim), the Moonhawk (different front fascia), and the Piccolina (different lights, doors, and fenders). Now, about a third of the vehicles in the game have facelifts.

I don't think we'd get a facelifted and refreshed Grand Marshal in 0.39, but I think it could happen this year - maybe 0.40 or 0.41. It wouldn't really be big enough for a winter update, IMO.

I would love to ram all of those into walls. After all, if you can't destroy them in real life then do it in a game!

With that being said, not everyone finds electric torque monster hypercars interesting. We already have electric cars in the game (despite being quite primitive) so that box is already sort of ticked. Really I wnat to see them focus on racing related stuff (hillclimb, time attack, pro drag) a little more closely as the current options aren't great. Engine customisation is something I want to see improved one day as well.
