100% advocating for this. I believe that @Tokimune has made a Finnish police config for this car, and a European-ized version of this car wouldn't hurt its' essence a lot, right?
to add to another episode of "Shelby bitches about lights", although this is kind of a dealbreaker: the DRL/Indicator doesn't work on the traffic variant, but the side one does TRAFFIC ......... NON-TRAFFIC (PLAYABLE) pictured are the traffic variant of the Vertex (left) and the playable, non traffic version (right). both screenshots were taken with the left turn signal on, mid-flash. both had every other light turned off, their engines on, and both were the SE trim (albeit this happens on every traffic Vertex i believe.) this technically isn't a game breaking bug, but it does make traffic awkward as it essentially appears as if they were trying to turn bavarian style (without using their indicators) i know you're busy with the Sapphire, but i hope you fix this whenever you can and give the traffic variant smooth lightning like vanilla traffic
@Inn0centJok3r Can I please use some bits of your Gavril Vertex's gauge display html and lua for my Hirochi Sunstorm updated new gauges? Spoiler: HEAVILY WIP Right now for the display at the bottom of the gauges, I am trying to get the speedometer and fuel display working and odometer (from normal odometer calculation) to show up on the right.
oh, i see. would it be possible to make the drl's on the traffic variants simply function as normal turn signals? just so that they're at least somewhat visible when driving.
Congrats on surpassing the Hirochi Prasu, and becoming the most downloaded vehicle mod in the BeamNG repo!
Thank you! I have been somewhat following along the numbers the past days as well, since I also noticed that it was getting very close. I never thought it would go this far 7 years ago but here we are! I'm glad it turned out the way it did ^^ Finally another car mod overtook the ungodly outdated Prasu. I still remember playing with it in 2017 and 2018 when it was pretty recent...
You can rice this car like no other thanks to the number of custom parts available. The car on the left is a megaricer with 150 horsepower (it would have been even less if the fart can exhaust didn't add a few), and the car on the right is a sleeper with 1,500 horsepower.
i think that EU Focus MK2 and MK1 should be a separate mod, because EU MK2 is uses a new base, while US one was still based on MK1
While IRL that's how it worked, BeamNG lore doesn't need to follow real life. I think the main reason why EU configs aren't added is because of the fact that the mod already has tons of configs.
people don't realize this most probably because the lore friendly cars are mostly just irl cars with custom badges and people think that the lore is also made that way
