Strongly recommend Way Out West - Workshop Stuff for some low-tech engineering. It's run by a couple in County Cork, Ireland who have a small, lightly-successful agricultural operation. Owing to their limited finances and unique problems (but a fully kitted-out workshop), the host, Tim, creates solutions to problems that have a real tactile, almost Industrial Revolution-esque charm. The spotlight being a functional railway line through the property, though he's also fashioned himself a ~10 foot diameter momentum wheel and a vintage-style electric pedal car. It's got a real 'humble, yet strangely engrossing local spotlight piece on PBS at 9AM' kinda tone. Low stakes, relaxed, almost grandfatherly... An old video, but one of the more inspiring IMO:
Huh nice, I was born in Ireland so it's cool to watch some Irish stuff. Drift Games is also a good Irish channel, very different though.
I'll post mines too (I made this video to mainly learn the basics of DaVinci and stuff. I want to improve this video in the future so feedback is appreciated)
