Hi guys There's some pretty interesting examples of metal and plastic here. Some i have not seen before ever. After poring through all of the images and forgive me for forgetting some I thought i'd add a few examples of what I thinks to be freakin awesome.
I generally like all the cars that we're made by the well known manufacturers (JDM, USDM, EUDM i like them in that order), because there have to be less-pretty cars for there to be a standard at all. My early days of playing Gran Turismo 2 Kinda defined what type of cars I like. Also, I find that a "Pretty car" is a car which really has some kind of character too it, as i try to imagine cars having personalities. You'll find out, that for me, the "Golden Era" of car design is between 1985-1995 Here are some of my favorites. I shall limit my selection to 4 cars from each continent. 1987 Toyota Supra My all time favorite car. The 70-Series Toyota Supra, I really like the JDM Taillight cluster, Saw Blade Wheels, and the Pre-facelift front end. 1998 Subaru Impreza WRX STi 22B This one grew on me, I liked the Sound it's boxer engine produced, and the WRC Blue with the Golden wheels grew onto me, I prefer this one to the other generations, although the 2005 Face-lift is a close second. 1998 Honda Prelude I like the 2nd, 3rd and 5th Generation of the prelude the most, the 4th generation is pretty but it doesn't really resemble any of it's predecessors, whereas the 5th gen does. 1995 Honda NSX A Japanese Supercar done right, I don't like it's successor as much. I absolutely love the taillight cluster on this car, and I like how the 3rd brakelight is integrated into the wing. AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT When it comes down to American cars, I really like the bland, sluggish, heavy sedans, for reasons I can't really explain myself. 1993 Lincoln Continental Mark VIII I like the Pre-facelift version of this car. I like how the Headlights and Grille all end on the same heigh, to make it look like it's a whole part. I also like the Taillight cluster (Yes I have a strange craving for Full-width Taillight clusters) And I like how Aerodynamic the shape of this car is (Though many will probably find it a generic, boring blob) 1998 Ford Crown Victoria Ah, the last of the true american Land Yachts, it's a simple but effective design. I wish we had these big 'ol Landyachts as police cars over here. 1983 Chevrolet Corvette C4 As mentioned by previous posters, This corvette with these wheels is a godly combo. I find it really sad that they dropped the Quad Tailights and the pop ups on the last few generations. 1969 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser Hangin' out, Down the street, The same old thing, We did last week! Not a thing to do. But talk to you, Wow, yea! AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT... Again. 1985 Audi Quattro It has Quattro-wheel drive, Powering Quattro wheels with it, and behind the Quattro rims are Quattro Disc brakes, of which some are ventilated, The car is powered by a 5 cylinder, that has Quattro Valves per cylinder 1994 BMW 850Ci It looks a lot like a Mark III Supra, which is one of the reasons I like this car, it also has a nice V10 instead of an Inline 6 . And this model is not to be confused with the absolutely horrific i8. 1997 Peugeot 106 Rallye Out of all cars that I like, i like French ones the least, but this is one of the exceptions I'm willing to make. 1980 Renault 5 Turbo It has "Turbo" written on the side in huge letters, isn't that a good enough reason to like it? There are many more I'd like to list, but for now this will have to do.
HSV GEN F/Maloo R8 Stunning, I think Holden did a really good job with this one. Just a shame it's one of the last Australian cars... Front Rear Those stock Rims though Nice Headup display Alot of detail in the interior
I'll try to dig up some more, gotta be a few beauties out there. - - - Updated - - - More from down under, not all are aussie made, they just rolled around this sunburnt land for a while. The Datto fastback was a some what erroneous name though. The mazda 6 may have already been covered but it is soo curvy and smooothe. The Furai pioneered that flowing philosophy. The Fezza liked to pole dance :-/ The purple holden is actually a Mazda. Some holden utes and a slightly modded holden crewman.
