I, personally, only have email notifications on for the development posts thread and certain mods that I follow on the repo. (also yes I do understand that this discussion is from almost 2 weeks ago, sorry)
https://www.reddit.com/r/BeamNG/com...mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button So I've just found this comment by stenyak on a Reddit post about the Sunburst remaster, it probably doesn't mean anything but who knows.
We could use a shitty crossover --- Post updated --- I keep all mine on to see if I can get 10k unread emails
And I thought ~20 alerts per day was a ton. OT: I’m surprised with the teasers: both a new car and weather/graphics updates seem to big to go into one update, not that I’m complaining or anything…
I know this is off topic but, there's nothing I can do about this anymore. This has been collecting since I signed up for the Rigs of Rods forums.
Maybe its good, I feel like the last updates were smoler compared to before (not all, most of them though)
The developers will have to make sure that snow and rain do not get into the car interior through the car. Accordingly, the same problem will have to be fixed with grass, bushes, dirt, dust, smoke and other things that flew through the car. finally, I'l be able to drive off-road, and at the same time I won't be pelted with mud through the interior.
Would dig a cryptic teaser when the timing feels right. Maybe insignificant photo or video that reveals something when altered. Hiding an object in the background. Some sort of puzzle. Alway the most fun for me personally.
This one. As for a teaser today, I think it could happen - the devs have been uploading them more frequently during the period, with fewer gaps in between them. Here's the number of teasers that had gaps of two weeks or more between them since 0.27: -0.27: 1 -0.28: 2 (one of them was this teaser released several months before 0.28) -0.29: 1 -0.30: 2 (these two had a period of three weeks between each other) -0.31: all four teasers were released more than two weeks apart -0.32: 1 -0.33: 1 -0.34: 1 -0.35: 0 -0.36: 0 -0.37: 0 (technically one, but that doesn't count, IMO, since at the time, the devs didn't know if the spike strips would work) -0.38: 0
On the topic of the upcoming car, do yous think it will be a whole new brand? I don't think many brands would suit a Grand Tourer at the minute.
I think Civetta would be a good fit, but I kinda hope it's something totally new (either also Italian like Alfa, or maybe something British like Aston Martin) --- Post updated --- How could I forget that haha
Saw some speculations in the comments of their YouTube post that it could be a new ETK model. Why won't it let me link the post
We haven't had a new brand that produces regular cars since the Wendover came out in 2021, and we haven't had a new brand overall since 0.27 in 2022. As I said here, 2025 was quite similar to 2019. Not exactly the same, but there are enough similarities that I'd think this would be a new brand from a new nation. As cool as it would be to get a new ETK after almost ten years, I doubt this would be it - ETK already got a fair bit of attention in the past three years. Think about it - we just had the most popular update in BeamNG history, with the biggest peak increase and the highest average increase. 0.38 was so popular that January 2026 had almost as high of an average increase (+686, 21,524 vs. 20,838) as 0.37 had over 0.36, and until last week, we were regularly getting around 35,000 players (or more) on the weekends. I don't think there's many better ways to keep that growth going than by dropping a brand new modern performance car from a new nation. You might see that 20,838 figure and think it's a lot lower than the ones I've mentioned previously. That's because it is - SteamDB miscounted how big the average was for December 2025, and corrected it later. They also corrected a few other average statistics over the years, oftentimes lowering them (like 0.27) or increasing them (0.37). Here's the old table: And here's the new one: As you can see, there's not too much difference (besides 0.38), but it does show that we've had a continuous average increase since 0.31 - which isn't bad at all. That's probably more important than constant peak increases, because it's no good having 10,000 people play your game if they're only going to return it after an hour.
