The problem with this undertaking is that the Corsa modification is only a modification of (and addition to) the already existing BeamNG.drive Civetta Bolide. Therefore, the only thing you would be able to copy without getting permissions from the BeamNG.drive developers themself would be the Corse bodykit, which is a very small part of the car.
Why convert a mod for BeamNG if you're in love with the F40, specially as there's loads of models for the car, accurate or not, oh, and you will have fun trying to make actual physics for the car. Just play whatever game that has an F40.
If you mean the GTR Variant... No. That one's (very probably) loosely based off a Ferrari 512 BB LM, while the Corse is based off a F40, and the Corse race trim is based off a F40 LM.
I think you should update the mod. Not to make it compatible with the new Bolide, even though that WOULD be pretty cool, but to add extra content. Something I have always wanted for it is a more customizable engine with different long block and variable turbochargers, and maybe a special single turbo application.
Yes, forum lets comment on such old threads, and I think it is not really a good thing. But still, bumping old threads is bad, especially if it is just your personal opinion on the mod and not something important that may actually change something. And yeah, bumping is indeed against forum's rules. Quote from rule 1.2: "Avoid off-topic, cross-posting, and resurrecting old threads." I mean, you can indeed continue bumping, but I am not in charge if you get a warning or get banned. You know, you can potentially speak with sentences only consisting of racial slurs - it is just that in result your account will get banned. If you have ability to do something, it doesn't always mean you really should do it. Ok, now let's forget that this happened and let the thread die, there is absolutely no more need in keeping it alive.
You had to go out of your way to acknowledge the advice not to bump the thread. I saw the title and got excited that a classic mod might be coming back, only to find that you have needlessly bumped it after more than _three years_
