Here's my new mod, the ETK V-Series... An ETK on the base of a Vivace. Lore : Early 2021, ETK’s marketing team decided to look back to their past, and realised they used to be good at making city cars in the 60s (ETK A-Series). They wanted to make a new city car, but were afraid they would miss the spot as they are more of a sports, midsize cars manufacturer than an economy car manufacturer. So they reach out to Cherrier. They build great mini cars and similar vehicles. They were happy to help. Later in late 2021, it was first shown at the NODE.IA in Berlin and then as a camouflage at Hirochi Raceway. The car was released in early 2022. Many people loved it, but among them there were also ETK fans which were convinced that the car wasn’t good enough for ETK’s brand image. part of me wants to call this idea stupid, but considering how MB had no problems rebadging a Renault, i can see this realistically happening i do hope you try to make the interior more ETK-ish, but not in a sense that you just rip the interior out of a 800 Series and shoving it in here. i guess try to make it somewhat look like a base-ish model F20 (smaller screen in an assembly for a bigger one) to fit the whole "budget-ish ETK" vibe. obviously depending on whether you think thats possible/ if not, i guess try to adapt the FCV interior in a way that will look like an ETK one (as in, change some stuff around, don't just slap a ETK badge over the Cherrier one and call it a day)
That is what we are planning. Believe it or not, we actually started this today . As soon we got it ingame, I crafted a lore, @ImNotConfused made the thread - and voila. @BaconBeam is working on a custom CVT too
Front looks pretty good tho the back could be more etk ish (specially quarter glass from the door). I would remove the little glass behind the rear doors and make the rear tailights from scratch inspired from the f20 1 series (I can model them if you want)
i took the tailgate from etk 800, but i need to adjust lots of things on it --- Post updated --- someone help me fix the grille please?
before making a forum post i think you should beforehand make the thing not look like someone shoved some etk body panels into a vivace at full speed and called it a day
Dam here we go again… I hate to be the forum police but… If I remember correctly, the forum rules say to create a thread if we have an ingame screenshot and progress to show. So…why not?? This is WIP, I don’t get what y’all are talking about
