WIP Beta released [FREE] Terrain Deformation by BrokenBrainCells UPLOADING TO THE REPO NOW

    ***This is a beta version values aren't perfectly tuned nor is everything perfect. ***

    When you load in the game open the controls and scroll down and set a key bind for reinitialize terrain.

    Once loaded in a map press ***Control + R*** then your ***Reinitialize Terrain ***key bind.

    The mod should be working. It is most noticeable on ***"MUD"*** terrain types, on maps with a ***smaller square size***

    The ***grass will flicker it is a limitation of the game*** that i can not control. You also will notice the collisions don't update immediately you have to after a second stop deforming the terrain to let it load because of how the game works, if i tried reloading every deformation the game would not play as it reloads collisions for everything on the map.

    Update that adds digging and dumping to the W40L.

    It uses a **custom bucket** shown in the pictures.

    I also added some settings for the tire terrain deformation and the bucket dig and dump.

    **All of the increase and decrease are for the tires terrain deformation. They also have descriptions at the top if you hover over them.**

    Toggle dig/dump changes modes during you dumping and digging** to stop it press the toggle Digging/Dumping On/Off key**

    After stopping dig/dump press the **Update Terrain** button to update physics at that moment or wait for it to do it automatically.

    When switching maps hit the** Reinitialize Terrain Key** and reset your car with **Control + R**


    Again this is buggy and im working on it, but i want you guys to have and play with it while i work.










    Just so yall know I use ai to help me code and do the boring copy paste shit. If you don't like that then oh well. I do what I want and i make things for people for free with some help from ai. This is my stance on the issue and i could care less what people think. I figured i should say there is ai use in the making of my mod lol, don't cancel me for not disclosing i use ai to help lol. Im not taking anyone's jobs- i run my own small model so no water use either, and the products i make that i use ai in to help me are all free and never will be paid. Good day see you again.

    Working on spawning actual chucks of mud and dirt on the cars as real objects so mud can pile up on your car and wash off in water and so forth, *edit* it works to spawn the dirt but the chucks update a frame behind since i am not able to spawn them at runtime procedurally. I have to spawn them on a map then attach them to the vehicle which runs behind the physics tic

    FIXED A BUG: The terrain heiught calculation was doublng so if the terrain block wasnt at 0 in world space it would think the points are 100m or whatever the terrain blocks at over the actual p[osition. So when you had debug draw on the lines went up or too high above the terrain it also affected digging and dumping they would not work as they use the distance.

    ***UPDATE: *** I am now getting 0 lag when using the digging and dumping modes it have a smooth consitant fps "at least smooth and consistant as my pc always was"

    Oh god, imagine working half a year on a paid mod and that happens...



    Hopefully they were smart enough not to plan their finances around Beam modding as a career. Even if someone doesn't end up publishing a very similar free mod within hours, it's rarely more lucrative than devoting the same amount of time to a conventional job, even a low-skilled one.

    they are either the same (likely, given what I know about the internet) or it's two separate projects that have come out at the same time (which has also happened before)

    It now deforms the terrain when you crash your cars and land on the terrain or flip over. Will have a button to disable it.

    Fixed a bug that was causing the tires to dig continuously while paused iof they were deforming the terrain while you pressed pause will update tomorrow

    **UPDATE:** All modes are now toggleable off sop you can use any or all at the same time, in case 1 or the other doesn't look the best on a map or car. The settings now have what system they control in the name so your not guessing.

    Been working on a ui. Its very basic as it doesn't need to be fancy and i hate ui.

    Added a preset system so you can change the settings to the preset that looks the best for your map or car.

    UPDATE: Now has a UI instead of only using key binds. There is a key bind to minimize the ui app too.

    Also the Fun section is wip but it works.







    Also if your trying to use this mod on the lands of sand map it will not work as the terrain square size is 64 meaning every terrain point is 64 meters from each other so moving it would cause a 64x64m area to move. Thats not realistic.

    Fixed the tire deformation sliders snapping back to the default position.
