would there eventually be a hardtop wagon (wagon without window frames on the doors) and doors with more traditional handles for the coupe?
I'm a little irritated by the fact that you made the Zenith convertible a failed version that never made it into production, would have made more sense to make it a vehicle that only lasted in production for a very short period of 2 years.
Let me give two examples, the Toyota Soarer Z10 convertible and the Nissan Zenki Leopard F31 convertible, neither of these guys had a mass-produced version.
Wasn't the Nissan Zenki Leopard F31 convertible literally a JDM version of the Infiniti M30 convertible??? Would it also make sense for there to be an additional non-folded soft-top roof that could be enabled in the parts selector??? --- Post updated --- Could also be interesting to see a hard-top wagon, plus having an option for the doors on the coupe body to have regular door handles, and if you are thinking about it, maybe add a LHD version for special import purposes? I could imagine you making a wagon, a coupe and a convertible bodystyle for the MK2 Zenith as well.
The M30 convertibles weren't also from the factory either, rather they all started off as coupes before being converted by ASC/American Sunroof Corp., which is more or less a third party conversion, and there was only atleast half of what was sold in the US anyway, so obviously Nissan didn't see it as fit for proper mass production at the time.
First, neither the Nissan Zenki Leopard F31 nor the Infiniti M30 has a true factory convertible version. Second, there is no non-folded soft-top roof option, and none will be added in the future. Third, there will be no hard-top wagon, which is quite unusual for a Japanese car from the 1980s. Fourth, there will be no regular door handles on the coupe body. Fifth, there will be no left-hand drive imported version; personally, I want to keep it in RHD. The last issue is that the MK2 Zenith is not in my plans, so I won’t make any modifications to this car. It’s purely because I’m not interested in it myself. Thanks.
I think i should explain why. First, the Ibishu Claria mod by LJ75 is a hardtop wagon, if that helps, (But it's from the mid 70's, so I don't know what that style would look like on an 80's one) Second, the KLJP pack by Kueso features a convertible version of the BX-series that includes a working soft top, That's based off of the Nissan Silvia/240SX convertibles IRL, which only made production from 1988 to 1995. Third, it could be rebadged as a luxury sub division of Ibishu for being exported to other countries. Fourth, some consumers may not prefer the unusual type of door handles that are currently available for the coupe, rather opting for regular ones instead. Fifth and lastly, there may be some people that want to see different body styles of the MK2 Zenith, whether people want to or not.
I'm not here to be rude or mean, but honestly it's all on LC700's decision of whether they want to add more things to the mod or not, and already they've made it clear that they've already made up their mind, so I'd rather respect those wishes.
Anyway, thank you for your suggestion. I have already responded, so I won't go into details again. No hard-top wagon, no working soft top, no export version, no regular door handles, and lastly, NO PLANS regarding the Zenith MK2. I made this mod simply because of my love for the Zenith MK1, I like these boxy cars. That's all. By the way, I am busy with my work and cannot fulfill all requests, and I apologize for that. You should understand that making a free mod while meeting various requirements is actually quite difficult. I hope someone can create an additional mod that meets your requirements. Wishing you a wonderful day! --- Post updated --- Thanks for your understanding!
Some new stuff... I don't know when 0.39 will be updated, so it's possible this mod will get updated before that. By the way, this is early bumper.
Another piece of news is that in the next update I will completely remove this old wagon body on the left. Instead, it’s the same sunroof-less wagon body, which I’ve taken the liberty of calling the 'GX model'.
More to share. But I still need to find some time this week to tweak a few details. Not sure if I can get it done before 0.39.
