Are there any good videos on making drivetrains in BeamNG? Want to make a simple scratch made vehicle. Ford model T. (Probably will stay private unless its good enough)
Brilliant. Would love to see actual EU specs without the reflective and light side markers + white front drls and for the base US spec models red turn signals in the rear (maybe with the whole tail lens being red for cost cutting measures, or using the same bulb as the brake light for the indicator and making the current white indicator into the reverse, removing the lights in the rear bumper.)
I was gonna say, I could definitely help with that but... a Model T? Not without some LUA scripting... I guess you could use a button combo to increase/decrease the throttle. Then use a clutch pedal to control the hi-lo gearing? Clutch pedal in for low, out for high? Brake pedal would be for reverse. Throttle pedal would be for the brakes. Use the gear selector to select Brakes, Neutral, Drive I actually think this could be done with some programming.
this is more of a nitpick, but i spent a while driving the wakefield, then switched to the lansdale, and came to a slight realization why is the odometer mechanical instead of electronic? most US cars by the 2000's already had electronic odo's, so it feels weird for one early 2000's Soliad to have electronic odo's while a slightly newer early 2000's Soliad has a mechanical one. to be clear, im not demanding that its changed, as it'll probably require you to rework the entire cluster, im just curious as to what led to this choice (im assuming lore wise it was simply cost cutting) but full seriousness, the mod itself is great, not perfect, but still fun to play around with
from what i can see online the PT Cruiser has a electronic odometer, with earlier ones having it in the middle, while newer ones had it on the right im probably looking into this too much, though. don't think this is meant to be a 1:1 copy of the PT, so... just do what you think would fit best? im being so annoying i should log off for today
How different is te rear suspension and jbeam around it compared to the Legran? Even though the PT cruiser was FWD only, would it be possible to slap the independent rear suspension from the Legran and give it AWD, or the only way to do it would be making it a live axle?
