AS someone whoi knows stuff about palnes, i jstu wanted to say teh takeoff speeda are actually quite realistic bcs in real life you dont take off with flaps 40 you take off with flaps 5 for drag and climb performance rasons. And you also dont pull up all of the way or as soon as you physically can for takeoff. So the flight model is actually pretty much perfect. Heck even the ailerons ahving issues at high speed si realistic - its a classic case of the wign warping and casuing control reversal. --- Post updated --- Also at lowt altitueds teh top speed is actually perfectly realsitic! And the overspeed warning could happily come 100kmh later btw.
New update, Fixed beacon Fixed UV on front fuse Made the plane easier to deform Fixed gear lever going the wrong way Added flap indicator Changed CoG position making landing/takeoff easier Added Throttle axis Added more controller binds Added default mouse binds
I only see that you added The throttle axis but The Gear lever IS still The wrong way and the cog feels that you didn't Even touch it. It's very noseheavy so please move it More Back so IT feels comfortable
As others have said, pitch trim would be nice. I noticed that the reverse thrust triggers before landing. The wheels also start to twist and turn when you land at 150 mph. To make this more friendly to HOTAS users, having the reversers be a hold trigger instead of a toggle trigger, spoilers and flaps being on axis and gear having positions instead of toggle would be nice. Great mod! I'm also interested in designing skins. Is there a list of skins that have already been made?
I'd like to also point out that roll is kinda hard at low speeds, I'm not sure if it's a 737-100 quirk but at least in the NG (-800) in XP12 it is much much easier to roll at low speed, although if i add some rudder it's fine. Steering could also be a bit better since in the real thing I recall it doing up to almost 90 degrees while here it seems like 45, but honestly the way it is rn is just fine I also noticed the flaps don't really do much effect? I can easily take off at normal speeds with flaps 0. Oh and yes I was also surprised this has no trim, why... Gear retraction could also be tuned as I find it a bit fast, it feels pretty arcade-y which is fine but it could be made a bit slower A nice addition also would make this thing brake when you hit both rudder axis for controller users as that's I think what most flight simulators do
