It turns out that the tires on simple traffic are faked a bit and don't even have air pressure which was causing an issue with the heat pressure change system. I have fixed that crash along with some other issues that will be out next update, but the simple traffic vehicles don't seem to work properly anyway with tire wear so they are now blacklisted in the auto addon. Make sure to remove the old version of NodeTireWearAuto.
Is this RLS carrer compatible? cause I Don't wanna leave the garage just to buy new tires moments later haha
It should work fine with RLS Career, though I haven't tested it myself. I do plan on adding some sort of career mode support for managing wear on tires in the inventory, but there will still be a way to enable free repairs when that happens.
Ahh that sheds a lot of light on this process. I've tested out the auto one and it seems to work perfectly. I was trying to see how well the mod would work in a beammp environment. Haven't tested that out yet with other people but it seems to work when I load in by myself. Thanks for all the work you do, I will def be using this for a while over the other mod. I will be sure to report any buggy behavior in my game.
It would be great to add front and rear cooling channels so you could adjust the cooling for the front and rear tires separately, because sometimes the rear tires are already at 90+ degrees while the front ones have barely reached 60. It would also be really useful to be able to preheat the tires, for example, when setting up the car for circuit racing — like in the UI.
Hello, apologies if this has been asked before. I did give a quick skim of the forum, but not a thorough read. Does this work on Beam MP? And if so, could you please make a version without the adjustable sliders? And maybe only allow tire repairs when stopped to emulate a pit stop? For hopefully obvious reasons, if someone is able to adjust the sliders with a UI app it isn't very usable for competitive racing Awesome mod though, and very fun in single player!
I'm pretty sure it works on BeamMP, haven't tested it myself much though. As for a version without sliders, it wouldn't be hard to add a simple "must stop" rule to the repairs in the mini tire display and temporarily remove the debug menu. I'm a bit busy at the moment but I may make that in my free time as it does sound easy and useful, however if you or another modder wants to do it and post it here then feel free.
