Development of new features for the "Car Jump Arena" app, aimed at optimizing the "broadcast" experience. The primary focus was on creating a more dynamic and context-sensitive design for the TV overlay. - Dynamic Radio System: Integration of radio modules for the "Driver" and the "Team." These messages are context-sensitive and are triggered by specific physical events—such as exceeding certain G-force thresholds (ranging from soft landings to impacts exceeding 200 G), landing in the water pool, or setting new records. - Live Environmental Telemetry: Integration of real-time displays for wind (speed/direction) and ambient temperature. Within the app, you can customize the wind settings to your exact preferences—ranging from "No Wind" to "Realistic" and even "Hurricane." This ensures that every jump presents a fresh challenge. - Weather Engine: This allows you to configure how weather and time of day behave. "Dynamic Weather" ensures constantly changing conditions, ranging from "Clear" to "Cloudy." Each state has a direct impact on the map's lighting, as well as on wind and temperature conditions. Note: No, rain or snow are not currently available. - Time Engine: This feature allows you to choose whether the displayed time should correspond to the in-game time within BeamNG or to your computer's system time. If you select the "System Time" option, you can even synchronize the in-game clock with your computer's clock. This ensures that the map always displays your current real-world time. The large "Froglex" clock positioned above the starting line displays the current time with second-by-second precision. You can find a short video showcasing the TV overlay here (please note: it does not yet include the implemented Team/Driver radio conversations, nor the wind/temperature displays).
Probably not going to end up releasing this, but wanted to showcase it anyhow (Better mod very functionally similar to this was released on the repository, which I think looks a lot better than my attempt)
Don't mind me I'm just a bit bored Spoiler: 3.8L V6 with ITBs and dual liquid intercoolers + high flow headers
You guys better hope Mythbuster gives me permission to make this public. - Openables soon - Mirrors work - New Belasco Diesel Engine - All Materials are updated - Lighting updated - Proper interior coming - Skinable - Lore Friendly - If I don't get permission it will stay private
If you manage to get in contact with Mythbuster, please let me know! I was working on revamping the 49 Cadillac a while ago, but stopped because I couldn't find a way to contact them.
I am just testing my luck on the forums, even though he was last online in March. Anyone know a more reliable way to contact him? --- Post updated --- Did he ever have a yt, or an email so I can contact them?
I think Mythbuster has a YT channel because I remember watching his Cadillac mod showcase and I think it was posted by him. I’m not 100% sure he has a channel and if he does, I don’t remember his channel name.
Thanks, but sadly there is no other way to contact him as far as I can tell. He was last online here in March, so ill hope for the best.
