Can user made mods become official?

Is it possible for mods made by users (like maps and cars) to become apart of the official game? I ask this because I have my own ideas for what I would like in the game. The things I am thinking of is iconic vehicles and remastered Rigs of Rods stuff.

 

I have never seen a mod straight-up beconing part of the game, but it technically could happen.
The closest to it that has actually happened would be the traffic UI app (whose creator was hired, I believe), the volumetric clouds mod and the Gavril Durham (both mods that shortly after had an unrelated official version - well, the clouds aren't released - ), and the Labrador Beaver, whose creator was hired (TrackpadUser), and later spawning the FPU Wydra.

 

They should make the Mistral CrossSport official

 

I don't know if it is realistic, but having similar cars from diffrent brands and eras would be a nice option to have!

In fact, if I was able to add vehicles to the game with the snap of my fingers, there would be a whole spectrum of vehicles to choose from!

That would be nice! There are some ideas I had for the game (cars, features, etc) that I would like and I am thinking: "Well, if the developers can only do a few at a time, what if people could essentially volunteer by making mods and have the community vote for some to be in the game (of course with pay)?" I would be worried about the results getting rigged and people being exploitative though...

(Unrelated, but would you like to hear my ideas? I tried sharing them, but they were just ignored...)

 

im not sure how involved Ren was on the MD series, but she did get hired and shes done some stuff on the truck updates i believe (ren made the duraham)

 

Honestly, I was just asking this because I wanted to add remastered rigs of rods mods and custom shaders so I can turn beamng literally(ish) into rigs of rods 2. The UI thing was a coincedence though. I just wanted the ability to change it into something I would prefer (like maybe do a skeumorphic design like Windows 7).

I am not a artist or a developer, but I have ideas that I would love to share with the developers or at least the community in the forums.

(Yeah, I am also bumping this thread to get more attention. I just really wish they would come to light.)

 

That seems legit! Only thing is that I have never made mods for a game in my life... I do have some ideas that could be neat though!
