PAID WIP Holloway-Rowe (Classic SUV)

It would be like for one of their first cars because Lexus was established late 80s early 90s so then experimenting with an older British V8 SUV would be a good second car to their smaller Avior but would subsequently fail due to the older design language and Procyon would facelift it in an attempt to draw more people to buy it making the front end and rear end more Avior like and giving the interior a Procyon Avior Styling

 

this makes even less sense, lexus was established to offer a better product at a lower price to compete with the europeans, they wouldnt ever take an outdated european suv (especially when it was like 20 years old in the 90s??) and turn it into some rebadge garbage

 

According to Procyon lore, the Avior was its first ever car.

 

Yeah and using parts from the Avior to make Procyons first SUV based on the Halloway-rowe but never actually making it into production so it would basically be a one off prototype parts would be from the Avior (Engine, headlights, brake lights, steering wheel, navigation system, gauge cluster) modified Avior parts would include (Bumpers, grille)

 

but the Avior arrived like 15 years after the Holloway

 

they have a 5-6 year overlap, but i still think rebadging the holloway would be a stupid idea

 

I guess it wouldn’t really make any sense but again it was just a thought

yea but that one makes sense, its not based on an aging platform and honda isnt really what you would call luxury

 

The Centauri is the Land Cruiser which is bulletproof, this mod is a range rover from the 80s which is a range rover from the 80s, wouldn't work IMO

 

"Who in the right mind would buy yourself a range rover" - Jeremy Clarkson. Well, from what i've read above people wanted to have that procyon version had an engine and the interrior from Avior and rest of the stuff is from this car

It just is a very odd idea to have a luxury version of what was already a luxury car! The Range Rover was the first luxury SUV!

Edit: huh, forum borked itself. I had a post pointing out that it wouldn't make sense for Procyon to lift a British SUV vs pulling from their parent company (Hirochi), which would be a completely different project and mod.
