Just imagine professional players doing races in an esport competition in BeamNG, like the muye questionable races, exept its not questionable
Judging by how empty the streets are, probation is not a thing. Straight to jail for everything… If you meant prohibition, we do have the bootlegger Nine In all the seriousness, the big gap has everyone excited for graphics updates, but this sure does give the vehicle team a long time to polish up cars. I don’t know how the work is divided in studio with this new undertaking, but usually we’d get a new car and a remaster in this amount of time
Yk that period in American history where everyone was on probation? Yeah that’s what you need to write an essay on lll
There's bootlegger configs for the Nine and stock car configs for the Bluebuck and Burnside, so I'd assume yes.
what are some of the things youve encountered? because i know a lot of older games were just capped to avoid having to do a lot of stuff based on time instead of fps
Calling an apple an orange doesn't magically turn it into an orange, and sliders are meant for settings that can have more specific values rather than just a few options to choose from where a dropdown works well enough.
tbh that fps randomizer would be fun to use for some challanges such as "if i crash, the fps gets random"
I am genuinely convinced that by the time 0.39 comes out, everyone here will have devolved into full on conspiracy theorists at this point
The moon is flat Yes and no. The bootlegger config for the Nine specifically references the kind of equipment that would be used to distill moonshine. While moonshine absolutely was a popular drink during prohibition, its unique position as a home-distilled beverage traditionally made in several very strongly religious states meant that it remained illegal for... well, it's still illegal to this day*. The Nine was manufactured in '33 and '34, and prohibition remained in effect until the 21st Amendment was ratified in December 1933, so there were at least several months of overlap between the car and the cause existing, but there being a bootlegger config doesn't necessarily prove national prohibition existed in the BNG-verse, only that some kind of distilled contraband was being transported by at least one Nine owner, at some point during or after 1933. *Albeit mostly for tax reasons. It's also worth noting that even after the end of national prohibition, several states and counties still continued to enforce local prohibition. Even today, liquor laws may vary strongly between counties, parishes, towns, townships, neighborhoods, reservations, etcetera, and some of these enforce liquor laws differently depending on the day of the week! In the US, it either feels like Orwell, or the goddamn wild west. No in between.
