Update Speculation thread

Because for some reason even though I have a lot of VRAM like 16GB it kept auto-closing the game and said "VRAM usage very high, ending program"

 

Tell me you don't know about game development without telling me you don't know about game development

With those new marker lights along with the current ones, I hope we will be able to choose between different types of lighting such as Halogen or LED lighting options.

 

We as well, I have to say i think they will give me Teasers ( more ) of them when the update is close like real close

What we got so far, PLUS the 1st few in the Dev part, But i think those ( the early art of it, and the side image are dated to post here )
SO here is some refreshes of what we got already.

Note how the yellow one Does not look finished at the time, I mean it may be, but it looks off, maybe it's just me ?
BUT i think that yellow photo, is maybe from like nov-dec 2025 to march2026? While the teasers from the video seems mostly if not fully finished? And the even later ( as i know the video used footage from i guess march/april )

i checked the metadata of the yellow cherrier picture to see when it was made, and it does seem to be from an earlier build from 2 months ago: 2026:04:24 14:40:27

 

It seems that we eliminated the spot effect of car lights in version 0.39.



This little ball of light is really backward, and it is easy to penetrate at some specific angles.



When I make mods, it is extremely annoying to adjust its position.


The lighting system will be greatly updated at 0.39, and I hope to see these annoying little things replaced by more advanced lighting systems.

 

I think the images are broken, least on my end?

the light flares are a way to fake bloom before thats was a thing, im pretty sure theyve been a legacy thing for a while now and will not be needed anymore

 

Yes ... I'm surprised that they have survived so far. It's time to replace them in the 0.39 update.

 

Really glad about this, it made the lights look really bad when looking from a few feet away. The lights clipping from different angles was super annoying also.

 

Scratches & possible dirty vehicles & a particles fx remaster OMG IM SO HAPPY!!!

 

It probably won't come in 0.39 so let's not get our hopes up yet!

 

Or at all. Statements like "we have an idea" and "it is on our to do list" do not necessarily mean that they will get something usable out of it.

Like starving young birds, we are satisfied with tdev's feeding every day and every time.

Seriously, this kind of satisfaction is unprecedented. We have never got so many teasers…… in a short time before ... It's a feast, which can make our stomachs swell up and lick our fingers after eating.
