How to get those exaggerated bright lights removed?

Hello all,

I am not sure whether this has been asked before but is there a chance to get those exaggerated lights removed? In the screenshot thread I´ve seen that this seems to be possible but as I am a newbie I do not have any plan how to do this.
For those who do not know what I mean:

Its a bug that the "flares" (light brights) get away. Because if you change the FOV (only possible in free cam) they go away. Example:
Standard FOV 80


Change to 20

Ok, but there is no chance to get those removed while driving in normal view?

 

Go to your settings menu and find the setting; Lighting change that to lowest/minimal. that should fix it!

 

Yeeeeah, but while it does solve the flare problem it almost completely removes dynamic shadows so I guess we just have to wait for them to get fixed.
