Ok so I should be getting the parts for my PC in a week or two and have some questions... And I'm a complete noob so please let me enjoy my PC before you hack me...

How does it compare to playing a racing game on xbone?

    Hello :)

Edit: I'm actually serious and did order a PC today. Only thing I need is an OS and I'm going with windows 8.1. Btw I also need a disk drive to install windows.

Yes, please do be serious. You've posted a new thread asking things that could have quickly been answered via Google, as well as joke questions that, I assure you, nobody here will find funny. Also, the Xbox One controller does work, but I believe you'll have to find an inputmap for it on the forums.

Okay. Use this thread to talk about your PC.

    Thanks!

I couldn't find anything about how the controller is with steering, I'd like to know if it's similar to xbox games or worse. Is it like playing any other game on xbox?

If it a wireless xbone controller you will need to buy an adapter to use it. If it is wired you can just plug it in. Same goes for 360 controllers if you have any of them.

Most PC games support xbox controllers directly. So if the xbox controller is connected when you start the game in most games it will change the icons to xbox icons (such as the A and B buttons etc). That will not happen in BeamNG because the menus are not done yet, but it should work once you actually start driving provided the correct input maps are installed. The game comes with a 360 controller map built in (like ~95% of PC games) but i am not sure what xbone controller support is like.

Currently there is no XB1 wireless controller support, you have to plug it in as a wired controller.

Pretty sure the wireless XB1 controller uses the USB cable for data if available unlike the wireless 360 controllers. IIRC you don't even need batteries in it if you're using it with a USB cable.
