Update Speculation thread

This thread had to be closed at least once due to so much spam - and this was way back when Beam would get 2,000 players maximum, and the forums was a much smaller place. So...yeah, that was huge.

I love how the spam hasn't stopped even with one hour of cooldown

 

is there a limit?

 

And why are so many people talking about, mentioning Tdev and flooding the chat saying they had to increase the chat time until the update came out? LOL

 

I hit the slowdown on the forums lmao

 

So, I'd bet the update will be here around 11 AM to 2 PM. Just with other releases happening around 12. "Edit, I live in central standard time"

 

Yeah... We'd also frequently get porn spammed across the forums, which, err...wasn't great.

I mean, it would be really funny if the Hopper were to get a remaster this update.

When you have, what, 35,000 people shoving themselves into a channel, it'll still get a shitload of messages.

 

im lowkey launching beam from time to time to see if it triggers an update check

i have SteamDB open in another window. im doing this from pure lunacy

 

They are making a lot of progress so far, so I think it will be out by 10 at latest

 

Situation is absolutely out of control on Discord hahaha I honestly feel bad for TDev being tagged so many times just imagine his notifications going crazy haha but hey , it's a good sign if people go that crazy over an update for your game !
