How bizarre, there's definitely some form of improvement (I'm on controller). Maybe it's the assists which admittedly I've forgotten to check.
Noise on your image looks different and is likely a bug, way more grainy than expected, thanks for the report. Can you try to remove `/current/settings/postfxSettings.postfx`
just here to add that im seeing the exact same issue with all my billboarded objects, as well as autobillboard lods
The update works for me so far. But I’m also constantly being blinded during the daytime. Also, sometimes I can't rotate the camera. But I can't say yet when that happens.
I would like to know, if in the future, we can have the option to change the brightness of the screens for the modern cars, like the Bastion and the FCV vehicles. Because the brightness is so bright that it could be a little bit difficult to see the road correctly, even with the headlights on.
I tested this in multiple maps before and after the hotfix with no mods and still recording replay drops the FPS to almost a third of what it usually gets (from almost 60 to sometimes around 15). Before recording it's completely fine and watching the replays back is still the normal framerate. But as soon as you press F2 for a new recording, drops frames to almost an unplayable amount.
really hoping that AE gets modified to ignore interior screens, or at least the screens become dimmer with the lights on, because i can't see a singular shittle now generally, would be nice if screens and gauges worked like irl; be slightly brighter during the day, but dimmer at night
Hey! I seem to have lost all of my mission/timetrial records and I can't find them... Does anyone know what folder should I be looking for that contains my runs pre 0.39? Thanks in advance!
alt + n. its a legal requirement in Europe for cars to have a rear fog light (which, ironically the devs forgot, since the Cherrier Twins, K-Series, I-Series (pretty sure they were mandatory by then), and EUDM variants of the Lansdale don't have them. devs you goofs ) sometimes, cars will have one RFL and one reverse light, although im used to seeing the RFL being in a red housing rather than a white one like in here. buuut you can use the cost cutting excuse here so
I was ok with a bit of performance loss in 0.39 but I feel like 0.39.1 fix forces my game to use DX11 which makes my performance on vanilla maps a lot worse... My GPU is bored (CPU too but game doesn't wanna use more than 30% of it). I had 60+ fps on West Coast USA using DX12 yesterday. Today I have 30, sometimes 40. Ryzen 5 2600 @ GTX 1660 Super
For some reason, driving on west coast USA gives much less framerates than Italy(from 60-70 down to 25), lowering graphics from high to medium doesn't give much improvement. It does reduce the GPU usage to about 45%
your GPU technically meets the requirements for DX12 (6GB VRAM), but possibly disabled it based on the amount of VRAM actually available (mine is also 6GB, but i constantly ran into texture streaming issues so i'd imagine thats why both of us got knocked back to DX11. and yes, if your gpu can't use DX12 it will fall back to DX11. Vulkan seems to work fine tho, and probably has the same featureset as DX12 (will we be able to set Vulkan as default in the future?)
I would like to force DX12 because like I said, it was fine. Vulcan is working for u? When I try launch Vulcan, my game freezes after few seconds.
yes this happens to me as well partly: I can rotate the camera but randomly will be unable to center it back (numpad 5 and a custom right joystick press) then it randomly starts working.
Please bring back the ability to overwrite existing configs via a selection window or list, instead of typing the config name letter by letter and hoping it matches.
