And what materials do I use, bro? I'd use the same material, for example, as the fender or hood of the base car, right? --- Post updated --- to see what you had told me
ok sorry for bump and all that but i cant figure out why is my bumper not showing, i did everything like the tut and even had to clear cache for it to show in menu but doesnt show (like on pic) what could i have possibly did wrong ? (ive seen the guy that had the same problem but didnt understand the answer) help plez ?
just went to search for the problem but my flexbodies are the same name as my name in blender (which is sunburst2_bumper_F_ws) Code: ], "flexbodies": [ ["mesh", "[group]:", "nonFlexMaterials"], ["sunburst2_bumper_F_ws", ["sunburst2_bumper_F_ws"]], ["sunburst2_foglight_cap_R", ["sunburst2_bumper_F"][]{"disable":"$=$components.foglightFR_equipped == true"}], ["sunburst2_foglight_cap_L", ["sunburst2_bumper_F"][]{"disable":"$=$components.foglightFL_equipped == true"}], still i doesnt find the problem, and whats a normal ?
A normal is an imaginary line or vector that points directly outward, at a 90 degree angle, from the surface of a polygon or vertex. It ensures that the 3d software knows which way a face is pointing so it can calculate light and display the object correctly. Your problem might be that the normals of your bumper are reversed, which makes it invisible. To check if its reversed, click "Face Orientation". Red means its reversed.
if it's red you go to edit mode and do shift+n. you may need to reverse the normals incase it doesn't change
i fixed it, now the front is blue and behind is red so thats normal right ? also it still doesnt show up in 3d ingame
yes if it straight up doesn't appear it's jbeams if the mesh looks weird it's normals/mesh itself/etc
Hey, so idk if you'll respond anymore, but how do i get specific parts from the .dae files?, it only loads race and custom parts, the unibody isn't even visible. i need to modify the stock parts (bumpers and grille)
