the one thing i seem to bitch about EVERYWHERE: the rear fog lights. more specifically, the lack of them (on most EUDM configs nonetheless. talk about dev quality)
the kraft fahrt bundes amt in beamhausen isnt so rude about it haha @MysteryManGER jokes a side it never felt in to my eyes that they dont have rear foglights --- Post updated --- oh i found it it wasnt gone its in the game
on the cars that DO have them, they turn on alongside the front fog lights. easiest way to check because while front fogs are optional, rear are mandatory equipment
Where is the weight pad prop? I needed it and it seems gone from my game. EDIT: Nevermind, the french name they put for it was weird and I didn't recognise it.
There're some trees floating above the ground in East Coast. This mission doesn't work. The camera at the beginning dive in the water and the ground before rising up above the destination, then dive in the ground and water again etc ...
Hi, i found a clipping bug on Automation Test Track today. While i'm not sure wether it has already been reported or not, better be safe than sorry i guess :
View attachment 1330728 fix this config and system its just disguisting and not ergonomical and creates random fnamed three files i make over 8200 config on the 0.38 and now im need go to 0.34 to make configs on the steam fix this @Fluffy Panda
some modded cars in my game have broken wheels (no tyres in the back and messed up wheel model in front)
I have a low end config (RTX 3070, Ryzen 5900X, RAM 32 GB) and the game runs fine in version 0.39. I didn't see much change in the performance compared with 0.38, it is probably slower (less FPS) but still very playable, nothing really noticeable until I played in VR with my Méta Quest 3S (in Vulcan mode). It used to be good in 0.38, but absolutely not playable in 0.39. I probably need to upgrade my machine... Nevertheless, I am very happy with version 0.39, I am not complaining here.
Issue found with time trial launcher: the Number of laps setting in UI doesn't seem to change anything; no matter what UI is set to always is a 2 lap time trial. I found this on automation test track on a few different circuits. Also I noted that previous time trial launcher settings (level, circuit, car, session settings) are not saved in the UI between sessions - I believe this was how the UI worked pre-0.39 minor stuff but its annoying not being able to set more than 2 laps for time trial session, and then also having to re-enter all settings before starting the next session. Thanks!
Is it a common occurence? I admit I didn't bother to sift through the whole thread. Those artifacts are flashing rapidly, they appear also around windows and lights of other cars. They're not always present, for example I've been doing several garage to garage deliveries in a row without any issues, and then they've appeared. I can't pinpoint what might be the cause, whether particular lighting conditions or something else.
I could be missing something here, but are you not able to choose your own vehicle when entering a challenge from the main menu? The challenges that use your own vehicle work fine in freeroam since it uses the vehicle you are in, but if for example I start a drag race challenge from the gameplay selector in the main menu, it just gives me the default vehicle (D-Series), and I can't figure out a way to change it.
I can't figure out why, at some point, all my configurations I made were moved to another folder. When I move them back to the folder with the current version of the game, all my configurations still don't appear in the game and return to the location I moved them from. I also saved some configuration and noticed that when I save it, instead of two files (.jpg and .pc), there are three (.pc, .jpg, and some .json). What's the point of this file if it just says "configuration": "name"? Why did you even need to create it???
Instructions in the freeroam tutorial vehicle config section are underneath the config/tuning telemetry HUD apps (you can hide them, but maybe that should be the default behavior): In both Vulkan and DX12 there are these two bright spots on the bottom corners of the screen when in a shadow or tunnel: Also in both Vulkan and DX12 there is weird lighting in tunnels, most noticeable in the Utah highway tunnel (using the default graphics settings here):
I don't know if it's a recent bug or not. If you select the 2ng gen Pessima 2.7 LX V6 Sport (A) and launch it (hold gas and brake then release the brake pedal after the engine reaches torque converter stall RPM), it'll immediately shift into 2nd gear, then back to 1st gear after a second or two, reducing acceleration performance significantly
Help I exited Photo Mode with the settings changed, and now those settings have carried over into actual gameplay. I'm stuck because there's no option to revert them—everything from the shadows and Depth of Field to the clouds is affected. --- Post updated --- It was a mistake to display two images; they are both the same.
You call that low end? I still call a 1060/6 and 16GB RAM midrange. Speaking of which, as the resident graphics card non-afforder, I realized today that a lot of my framerate issues are probably something to do with the new lighting. Italy (which used to be the heaviest vanilla map) runs better with multiple cars than WCUSA does with one, and that's with most of the lighting- and shadow-related settings turned down as low as they can go without turning them off completely. Seems like the new lights would be the best target for optimization at this point
