He probably made his chassis its own JBeam. Bad news for my PC.
The reason why I can play with the d15,Covet, And grand marshal is because they have a fairly simple Jbeam.

Oh well. Cant shut up now since this argument began >.<

He already stated its based on a modified covet Jbeam....

The prelude is unibody, it doesnt need the seperate chassis JBeam as the moonhawk does. The prelude is a similar layout to the covet, its actually a tad smaller. The D series would be far more complex.

As I don't care about crap computers (not OLD, because my 5 year's old system can run BeamNG at a decent frame rate), I'll get back to what really matters to most people here:

Fender flares / wider tires WIP:

    2015-03-14_00007.jpg 2015-03-14_00002.jpg

Someone asked about the speedo/tach working, it actually works as it should:

    2015-03-14_00006.jpg

As for the non visible updates, it's got a new rear suspension setup now, wich works perfect, doesn't break and can be tuned accordingly.

Any ideas on how to make the fender flare pieces optional without using additional nodes or beams?

5 year old PC... If you can run beamNG on that kind of system Im just fine. Mine is mostly from 2012(AMD A8 APU, not the greatest but works.) GPU from 2014.

Thanks for finally trying to stop this. I want to talk about the car and not my system all the time.

I dont understand Jbeam yet so I cant help you here... But you probably will need more Jbeam files and a separate model of the fender flares in the .DAE file.

I'm not much for 'tuners' but I do like some all stock imports. Older Honda's and Toyota's are among those.

Looks good, cant wait to torture my PC with this.

That's an epic set of Watanabes :D As for your last question, I would make two versions of the body(same jbeam different names), one with the flare model and one without.

Thanks, though I'm trying to avoid that to keep it simple. Would be nice to be able to choose the flares on and off from the parts menu.
So far the best I could figure out is to put them on along with the Watanabe's, so when you select the wheels they pop right in.
Looks a bit ridiculous without them anyway :)

Just out of curiosity, are you planning on making a version with steelies? I believe they were a factory option for the base model- correct me if I'm wrong.

    Something like this:

I was the one that asked about the speedo and tacho. looks good and i'm suprised that they're working!
and could you add maybe a turbo tuned version with turbo pressure gauge? that would be cool!

This is the best looking mod I have ever seen. You really take time in your mods. I like how they aren't just thrown together. You seem to put a lot of effort into these.

Thanks guys, getting close to finish hopefully, mostly texture work ahead and some minor parts adjustements, but it's almost there.

Here are a couple of runs, one with the stock engine and the other with the B18C 200hp vtec:

(sorry about the crap quality, I suck at compressing videos. On 720 looks better)

I really dont like the camera angle in the car as its seen in the video...
But thats just me... I prefer the camera to be back and up a little, but once I can figure out how to change cameras inside the Jbeam file, then I can fix it.

Other than that, when will it be out? a couple weeks, A month?

It could be moved a bit back, but not by much....I like it this way too because of the nice and well readable gauges.
I can't wait for the release of this thing!

Yes I've pulled the camera a little bit back and widen the angle, but not by much. Something similar to Forza. Also the steering wheel rotation is game friendly, it won't spin like crazy like the official vehicles.

About deadline, I'd say a month or so. Maybe sooner, depends on how much time I spend getting this engine in game:

    vtecbay.jpg

Already have the high detailed model but I need to make a simple one and texture it. At least most jbeam problems are fixed, I don't need to waste more time with that anymore.
