alright if anyone can help me with jbeam here are the current files, just quote this msg and i will credit you
Then you learn it, and don't get AI to do your job for you. Modding this game isn't something you can put low effort in, atleast not if you want to make something that's actually good.
don't criticize other peoples work if you couldnt do that yourself, at least i figured out how to get the model to work. I know how to texture, the Jbeam is the only thing standing in my way. If you think you can do better, download the file and try to finish the mod.
i got the 3d model into blender, watched a bunch of fillman86 videos, made a jbeam that didn't work and asked AI to help. There is a difference. I have no people in my family or friends that know how to do this, so that was my best option. If you don't want to have a mod where testing stages are helped by AI, then go away and shut up. You could help or you could yap. Choose.
"If you don't want to have a mod where testing stages are helped by AI, then go away and shut up." Horrible take. You watch videos, yeah, but you don't stop and certainly not just from one person. You're not entitled to my help, i'm not the one making the mod. However, i am free to state my opinion, and there's plenty of information available that rules out the need for AI slop coding, which you were apparently lazy enough to do. Did you even bother reading the wiki and it's modding section? I'm being harsh because you put zero effort in and get mad at me for giving simple advice. Since you're probably gonna continue the whining (fair assumption since you took nothing from my previous comment) here's a few sources to get started that isn't made by a bot: Introduction to JBeam (BeamNG Wiki) Modding For Dummies (Discord server, couldn't find a working invite but should be easy enough to find if you try) Introduction to BeamNG.drive modding and Physics system (By MorzBNG, contains many videos on modding)
alright, now please go away and let people with ideas and nice things to say fill up this thread. I have found someone to help with the model and jbeam.
Look, I wish you all the best with this mod, I genuinely can't wait for it to be released, but you are being unreasonably rude to people
i am just kind of annoyed and i apologizze but i did take his advice i found someone to make tthe jbeam --- Post updated --- yeah sorry
from what i've seen your jbeam structure is... suboptimal apart from the fact it's made by AI it has a questionable naming scheme (1,2,3,4 ) tbh your best bet is 1. following @zach444's advice or 2. reading the autobello formula kit car tutorial on the jbeam
