New ETK would be sick, its been like 10 years since when gotten a new one

 

That is true - the devs do love their mass-market vehicles (even for things like supercars and luxury cars). However, if the devs were to do a Soviet car, I think they'd do a Trabant or Wartburg (since we don't have any FWD cars older than 1984, and the Trabi's VERY iconic) or an Oka (since that was sold in the US and is tiny). A Tatra would be a funny option, and would cover a lot of ground (first large RR car, first Czech vehicle, first air-cooled V8, etc.), but I think that's a bit too rare (20K T603s, 11K T613s, and ~20K of the other streamlined types).

Maybe a Volga could work - that's much larger than the Miramar (4.8-5m vs. 4.3m) and was produced for ages (and in relatively big numbers). It had multiple facelifts, an AWD off-road version, a V8 for interceptor units, a wagon body, and RHD export versions, so there'd be a fair few options to play with.

We haven't gotten a second brand for any nations outside of the US, Japan, or Italy - and I don't think that's going to change any time soon.

It's quite likely, IMO - we've had a September update every year for the past four years, and almost every time, they've been big hits. So, I doubt the devs would want to miss out on all that money. If the update was months away, why would they be

It might be too old for an electric version, but that would give it something to differentiate it from the T-Series.

It could be Swedish, yes, but Jargl itself as a brand is long dead. It doesn't really work for me, tbh - I'd much prefer something like Dalarna (a region of Sweden).

While I agree that a new, Merc-like German brand would be a bit more fitting than ETK, the devs haven't really bothered with adding new mass-market brands in the past five years. Since Soliad came out in 2021, we've gotten some smaller manufacturers (SP, FPU) and some tuning brands (like Rennspecht). Everything else has been under brands five years or older (except for the Lansdale).

This is just a dumb theory, but there is a possible chance that the euro truck could be an Italian brand. After all, the teaser is set in Italy and it’s first in-game appearance of the euro truck…

The headlights are definitely in the right spot, but it’s a bit older than the truck in the teaser. Possibly a newer truck though.

Well the previous teaser made me think 00's but here the cab seems generally more rounded. Could be anywhere from 2005 to 2015?

They hid the german flag and blue BeamNG in the teaser !!!!

 

We can be pretty confident it's not ETK or Cherrier because their logos don't match the teaser, unless the devs are creating a new (old) logo for them. I think DriftinCovet also pointed out that the last time any brand had back to back vehicles in an update was a long time ago, so Cherrier is less likely.

A new Swedish brand would be the best fit for the logo ending in U, the crown config teaser (the 3 crowns being the national symbol of Sweden), the fact that Scania and Volvo are both dominant truck brands IRL, and the opportunity to expand the game's roster (so many classic Volvo and Saab cars as inspiration).

 

The roof and mirrors looks very much like an Iveco Stralis to me

 

With the new european truck coming, the addition of the Ardente in the last update and the changes that they've done on the Italy map, I think that we could possibly get the option to choose to either do the campaing in WCUSA or in Italy as EU trucks ans cars fits more in Europe

 

IF the new brand is saab inspired they BETTER make this a car after

Something I want to have would be the expansion of Italy with the four big islandes around the main island. Or a fusion between these ; lke these, the trucking missions would be insane with very long roads, and that's where long-distance trucking missions will take on their full meaning..
