What mean the differential? Real vs BeamNG!:D
    Real Diff.

And how it looks in beamng.

    diff test part 2

    diff part 3
with 1 and 5 gear and engine was off to close the drive shaft way and get to work beter the diff....its worked but only with extreme high torque...so on..see on video

If this little thing not work fine... it means can be problem with many other thing too, not only the diff.
Oh, and how the wheels can spin if no torque on the drive shaft!
I really wait for the new wheel improvement update, and the other stuff.
I'm still here, so....keep up the great work... and the dream comes true:p

First of all, very clever test of the differentials :) .

In your tutorial video it says (towards the end) that one of the problems with differentials is that most of the torque goes to the most slippery wheel.

In your 2nd video, it shows exactly that. At the beginning one of the rear wheels goes slightly faster so as the video progresses it gets more and more of the torque because it "appears" to be more "slippery" than the other one.

In your 3nd video. If the engine is decoupled then by rotating one of the wheels you only rotate the central axle and nothing else.

Yes, i agree, but in the part 1,2 video i changed the axle friction under diff slot to 0.01, which must cause to the diff work easily.
After this i created a new test, part3 with 1st and 5 gear with manual gearbox and the engine was off... the diff worked, in 1st gear finding it hard to go but in 5 gear worked fine but only under extreme torque......

To see how far differential code is working good make the next test. Once u get your car with a hanging wheel (use a little mountain or rock or even ditch), u ll see that once u accelerate the less loaded wheel is the one that spins with the engine imput (basic open diferential like Grand Marshal has). To emulate a locking differential press your brake smoothly and u ll see how both wheel´s start spining because you are charging both wheels with same load at same time. This will make both wheels spin at time like it should. In that way you could get your car out of those kind´s of situations, very usefull tool to keep in mind, even irl. Newer cars dont use old complex diferentials like they did in the past, they just have a kind of inverted ABS that load the unloaded wheel by braking it, making a simple differential work as a auto locking one.
