Update Speculation thread

I'm guessing local multiplayer will be in the PS5 version since its also in the PC version. I would appreciate split screen on PC as well btw!

 

It has in fact changed from being a one player game to being a four player game on the PS store.

 

But was that the devs updating the store to reflect that multiseat is a thing, or updating the game to add split screen?

I wonder if the changes will be visible or if it’s just cosmetic/under the surface upkeep. I know they hinted at maybe a new forum at some point. I’m not sure if they would do that at the same time as an update or not, though

 

i think it's coincedence, the services they mention are all running on ip 116.202.226.165 as of now, mostly web related stuff, their API and/or services are running on several other ip's

 

seems like yesterday they had 417k subs (5k loss), and now 423k the next day? this is extremely strange

 

NEW TASER

 

There was a YouTube API glitch that caused people’s subs like mines to be randomly much lower. They fixed it today so it should be alright …

 

I wonder if the server maintenance will fix the forum glitches, I've noticed its been very buggy lately.

A, my msg count has stayed at 37 even though I have definitely sent more messages. -edit- eyyy, now on 38, though im sure its closer to 60+

B, Sometimes when you react to a forum post it doesn't appear when viewed from a different account/no account

strange that we cant remove reactions at the moment.

Anyway, when next truck teaser, I need to see this big boi.

anyway, there's also a bug where I might get a notification saying that my post was quoted by someone, but the post doesn't actually contain my quote

Yeah, I doubt that the devs would want to deal with server bugs AND update bugs at the same time, but it's possible that they'll do the forum upkeep tomorrow, then drop the update this Wednesday (since it'll be a week since the Euro semi was fully revealed). Then again, the T-Series remaster had its final teaser two weeks before the update dropped, so I could easily see 0.40 dropping next week.

What's interesting is that the maintenance will occur long before teasers usually get posted (~16:00-20:00 CEST). So, we probably will still get a teaser tomorrow.
