You can use Sollumz' Blender Plugin to get the model file (.yft) into blender, and then use CodeWalker to get the textures (using the RPF Explorer and clicking on the yft file in the mod folder) and work your way through Blender material renaming and mesh joining, if needed. You also need an install of GTA5/O on your computer to use CodeWalker
Divine intellect! (meshslapping properly, looking into vanilla/mod car files for guidance, blender plugins, youtube tutorials, etc.)
so from the list i do yes (sort of), yes, yes (they are horrible though), never, idk what else ion know atp
currently bugging out tryna add a custom bumper slot for my car. any advice? it's just the slot parts i'm stuck on, i alr have the models (i almost forgot to delete some bracket thing so ignore that) --- Post updated --- fixed some things (just sorting), but it's still broken (i'm patient for advice dw) --- Post updated --- wait no heres the screenshot i sent the wrong one (last picture) (fahhhhhh i need to focus) --- Post updated --- I FIXED IT!!! Get ready for some cool parts guys!!! --- Post updated --- for now, the total customization includes: -5 or so front bumpers -6 grilles ...and that's it! i'll be adding more; don't worry --- Post updated --- ok
when i finish all the customization, i might as well add plates --- Post updated --- just finished up adding rear bumpers, spoilers, and two skirts! soon i'm gonna do plates, and then the mod will officialy be in WIP Beta Released! (or atleast i hope so lol) [ADDITIONAL NOTE: i forgot to add that i might have to do some jbeam edits for the spoilers, but thats about it] --- Post updated --- so uhhhhh... --- Post updated --- btw here's some issues with the mod before you guys dive in: -jbeam is not really edited so much (especially in the back, although the front has some editing) -some parts don't have meshes (thankfully only minor ones) -4-lugs arent adjusted to fit the body -no interior cam -no front plate and that's about it
Hey I think the Idea of GTAO cars in Beam is pretty sweet, This is a nice start. I gotta ask, are you going to make a custom interior? The regular on in gtao is Neat but It would also be cool to have an accurate fox body interior.
i am NOT good at interior work, although i will fix up the interior (vanilla model wise) in the next update i make, whenever that is lol
im gonna make a poll someday for what cars you guys want me to port (idk if mod cars would be allowed tho, so for now it'd be vanilla cars)
iwascookinandiburntthebacon... (and before i forget, there's a tiny gap between the light bar and bar mount that i couldn't fix, but it's barely noticeable lol) --- Post updated --- the one thing left to add rn, is a steering wheel, but with how that went with my 302 mod idrk --- Post updated --- here, have one more bumper --- Post updated --- ... i almost forgot interior pics lol --- Post updated --- slight difference in looks, but makes it look much newer (in my eyes) --- Post updated --- folk valley used cars alert!!! added: -front bumper -new pair of headlights -police lightbar -some interior stuff in joy
ykw sure you guys can make a rebadge of it (or even custom parts), just give credit to me for the og mod ...just dont use AI to make the mods, else it's a big NAH.
folk valley autos update (and it only took me one day to push another update out): -mirrors (as requested by @Melfi ) -fixed glass and badge textures -new config idk what else to add next
truly Goated. starting to look pretty sweet! Is there plans to have interactive interior elements in the future? (Ie light switches, cruise, ignition, windows)
