The '66 Impala, according to Wikipedia, is about 10 inches longer than the '66 Charger, and 4 inches wider. Of course, this is assuming that the Charger mod is accurate scale as well, but the images look pretty accurate to me.
i think it was mb it just looked strange when i first downloaded it but after driving it for a bit its perfectly fine also the one in the photo is i think a 73 dodge charger
Something to keep in mind is that Bluebuck, despite its in-game classification as a full-size car, is really weirdly out of scale (The Barstow, for reference, is a mid-size car and allegedly has a 109.45in wheelbase, while the Bluebuck allegedly has a 117.4in wheelbase, but is physically a lot smaller than the Bluebuck), and the Charger is a mid-size car. A big mid-size car, but a mid-size car never the less. Actual Chevy Impalas, Bel Airs, Biscaynes and Caprices were just huge.
Well, the wheelbase part probably has something to do with the fact that the Bluebuck has 7 mile long overhangs, while the Barstow doesn't really have any.
No, like, compare the Bluebuck and Barstow next to each other. The cars are out of scale, as if the Bluebuck is 7/8ths what its actual size should be while the Barstow is 2:1 scale. --- Post updated --- Maybe not that oversized but you get what I mean.
Loving this mod, only complaint I have is the size of it. It looks great on its own, but the moment you add another car to the scene, it looks incredibly out of scale, massive even next to the other Impalas and Cadillacs.
Yeah, the older cars in the game need a bit of work in the scale department. Or a little bit of anything, I don't know when any of them really received an update.
All of the old '70s muscle cars desperately need an update imo. I'm not totally sure all of them have even gotten major overhauls since they came out
The Moonhawk might be the oldest Vehicle in BeamNG with no Remastered Model, even has gone 13 years without one, which now reminds me that i forgot to upload the Moonhawk Tribute
