if you are on 0.23 use mine, jura banguela's version is the 0.15 hotfix, which got outdated in 0.18, use mine for 0.23

This update got a little bigger than anticipated ♥️

Engines & Suspension

• New 2.0L DOHC Racing F4 Engine.
• New optional ABS.
• New default wheel alignment.
• Reworked stock engines to better reflect real world data. (torque set to 100%)
• Reworked front and rear suspension variable to allow more tuning range. (Thanks to UnspheredLeek74)
• Reworked suspension setup of the 'Offroad', Tuned and 'Black Edition' configurations. (Thanks to UnspheredLeek74)
• Improved steering to better reflect real world properties.

Parts

• New fender skirts.
• New interior button for the differential lock.

Localization

• Add Brazilian Portuguese language. (Thanks to DOFGAMERX)
• Add Bulgarien language. (Thanks to Anonymbo)
• Fixed minor translation issues.

Career

• Reworked how the (interior) suitcase is connected with the body to fix cargo issues in career mode.
• Update Career prices.

Improvements

• Improved dashboard lights.
• Improved rusty config: Adjust brake strength, battery charge, torque and emptied the glovebox.
• Fixed 'vehicleController' no longer working correctly, causing issues with the 'arcade' gearbox mode.
• Fixed US-CA license plate appearance.
• Fixed appearance of the Simple Dashboard.
• Fixed various UV issues.

is anything unique ever planned for the AW? would be nice to have an even slightly more original "lorefriendly" one

 

No. Both versions will be identical expect the branding. I don't want to force people to one version just for some exclusive feature.
Everyone can use the AW variant for convenience and choose the VW variant when the really want the real-world branding.

 

fair enough, if I ever learn modding, my first big project would prob be to make new body panels for the AW
