    Hello,

I just configured my G27 steering wheel and It's ok BUT steering degrees is too much in this game.
G27 have 900 degrees at ALL. So for left direction is 450 degrees and the same for right.
In the game is 720 degrees for each direction so it's 1440 degrees at all!
There is no steering wheel controller which have so much.
ETS 2 have about 390 for each direction which is very good.

I think you understood me wrong or you don't want to understand me and trying to help.

I mean we must turn the wheel too much degrees for each direction.
In game we must turn 720 degrees for one direction which is too much.
Logitech G27 have 900 degrees at ALL so for one direction should be 450 degrees in game or less to be able set 1:1 steering wheel controller and steerig wheel in game.

good point, we were thinking if we could use the logitech API to set the degree range per vehicle. I guess that should also work the other way round, so you always have the 1:1 mapping :)

I used my G25 yesterday and all works fine, but I found it too demanding with the way the vehicles handle at the moment so I'm back to my controler.. with no H patter (sigh) haha

I mean the angle that I need to rotate the steering wheel to have the same position as in the game and I can't do it.
When I'll turn my wheel 90 degrees, in game is turned about 170 degrees, etc:
    my wheel 180 - game wheel ~280
    my wheel 270 - game wheel ~450
    my wheel 360 - game wheel ~610

It depends on the car. The steering wheels all turn about as much as their real life counterparts. It seems odd but most big trucks (and even small trucks) turn 1440 degrees.

Okay but there is no gaming steering wheel which have 1440 wheel rotation. When I'm driving with camera at dashboard, it's ok, I should play like that when I have steering wheel but when I have camera in cockpit, steering wheel in game is rly annoying because it's rotating so fast. In the future, when Oculus Rift will release consumer version, gameplay will be more uncomfortable.
Custom settings of degree range should be great. Not all gamers have steering wheel with wheel rotation over 900 degrees.

Well, there's no real accurate way to simulate >900 degree steering then. We could code some nonlinearity so that most of the travel matches your wheel and then it accelerates towards the end, but we're not going to make the individual vehicles' steering unrealistic to accommodate 900 degree wheels.
