It contains odd code, like UI checkers and whatnot, I looked at it along with JGB. I dont think its malware either, but just a bunch of AI halucinations that made it think it had to write all that sh** code, i dont think there were any bad intentions to be fair.

But isn't it better than having no Boeing mod at all?

No its way worse because it takes up the "slot" for other modders to make a proper one.

What? No one limits you to make mods.
In fact, the more mods of a certain category exist the more knowledge there is and the more people make mods.
Look at the 'Land Vehicle' category.
There's like 5 Skylines, 10 Supras of two generations combined etc.

Meh, opinions vary. I respect your opinion. It just clutters the forums more when there are duplicates, and makes things weird.

I think its better to not have a mod that does useless stuff for no reason, performs badly, makes game perform badly, uses copyright sounds, and is made with AI, which means it was made by taking other peoples work without permission. If it was an ACTUAL scratch made mod? then yeah, we would want that.

True but hopefully AI slop instead of malicious intent

Literally half the cars on modland do. I'd rather take a great real engine and exhaust sound then FL studio imitation.

Did not happen to me, one vehicle rarely dips FPS.

It's the future for everything, a dawn of new era.
You'll be seeing way more things made with AI every month/year.
Look at Ui category, it's happening already :D

AI Slop, instead of malicious intent? So you admit that AI is bad? That it does useless stuff for no reason? How is that any better, when there is SO MUCH useless stuff in this mod?

You want to use MODLAND as an example? The website full of stolen and fake mods? Let me ask, in your opinion, what is a good mod? Because almost nothing on modland that isnt straight up stolen and reuploded, isnt a good mod. They deform badly, the mesh is weird, and the materials are broken. So, what on modland is good?

Copyright sounds are only on modland because the moderators there refuse to take stuff down, I speak from experience.

For fps, it WILL change depending on the person, I know people who get good fps and using just this mod drop down to about 15fps. I dont know your specs, but is it performing GOOD, or is it just slowing it down, but you cant tell? How many fps do you get with a regular car, or even a good plane mod, compared to what fps you get with this?

I understand that AI is the "future" but the future of this game should not have to be full of AI mods. The whole charm of modding for this game is the challenge of creating something yourself, not having some chat bot do it for you.
I know there are more and more AI mods appearing, thats the issue.

as the creator of several mods, cars and aircraft for the game, people using AI and claiming its "their own work" with "aid of ai" when the whole goddamn mod seems to be pure AI garbage feels like a spit in the face with the intensity of a powerhose. People who defend mods such as this, which in all honesty is so severely unoptimised, tries to utilise things that arent even there (offline mode??), uses models that are so lazily transferred from another game that the other games dependencies still exist in the files of this mod (literally no need and shows how much this person honestly knows). While I DO appreciate the effort to get more mods out there this is just honestly not the way and it is genuinely casting a bad shade onto mods of this type as people will just look at this and say "damn all other mods must be like this then" or just not start complaining to the devs of the game etc about performance being dookie. Just please stop supporting or trying to justify purely AI coded mods such as this, while using AI to like do math or optimise lua functions for you is in my books fine enough to do literally asking claude or smth to "make me a 747 mod based on this model" and skadoosh whatever pops out onto the forums as yours is honestly just absurdly disrespectful, just go and learn to actually make mods instead of trying to be a vibecoder.

We're the last generation that will do things manually and know what happens under the hood.

Uh, who is WE? You don't mod, and you were just defending AI mods, so like, pick a side? WE as modders know what happens under the hood, so idk what your talking about.

Human kind as a whole, not just a smaller niche of BeamNG drive modders that can't relinquish Notepad++.
Although I went through your profile and gotta say the list of mods is very respectable and diverse.
Boats and planes are a super under-represented category. Respect!

I played with some of them and it was very fun although HMS Ark Royal instantly gives me unstability error.
I'm paying them money for multiple subscriptions, not the other way around.
    Time = money.
Time on Earth is finite but money you can earn.
