Greetings! Hey, I have been working on a map that represents certain areas of my state, and a few local business have asked me if I can add them to the game. Is this ok for modded maps? Or is there any like, not real life brands or business, even if you have permission rule? Thanks beforehand!

I would think that it's fine if you have permission from local businesses, provided we're talking about mom-and-pop businesses and not just branches or franchises of larger enterprises. Like, the people at my local AT&T store or McDonald's can't speak for the corporation as a whole, even if they are ostensibly businesses of their own right. There's also some small question about maps being used for advertising. Car rental company Sixt quite infamously commissioned a BeamNG map, it was deemed in poor taste, and there was a good bit of backlash. It's probably fine if you're not advertising for multi-billion dollar national or international corporations, but you'd be advised to make the in-game branding feel like a part of the world, rather than making the map itself feel like an advertisement.
