Meet the Cherrier Percheron, a full-size European cab-over semi truck from the early 2000s. Available with many 3 cab sizes, many individual frame configurations and some unique upfits, now out with 0.40. Also comes with a bunch of matching trailers!

As I have recently aquired a C Class licence and become a part time truck driver (rigid box truck), I could not wait to try it out! Overall, I am very happy with the way the truck feels. The devs made one heck of a good job with it.
Hovewer, a few small details are a bit of a miss for me, and i hope that with 0.41, these get resolved or added.

    - All solo trucks I have driven usually have a little "remote", actually attached by a landline-like cable on the ground below the driver seat adjusment controls. This serves to adjust the rear ride height, to match the loading bay area.
    - I have driven two trucks from the time period (Mercedes Atego, 2002 and 2005), and both had an analogue tachograph. This one looks to have a digital one. But maybe some trucks at that time had digital tachographs, I dont know.
    - The rear is all wrong. On the box section, there are two rubber blocks, which serve an important function. When you are reversing to a cargo bay, the blocks serve to dampen the jolt, when you eventually get into place. There are similar blocks on the cargo bay itself. Essentially, you are "crashing" into the cargo bay area, albeit at a very low speed. BUT! On the Percheron, the coupler for the tandem trailer, and the bumper itself are sticking out further, than the rubber blocks, totally negating any function of them. The whole assembly has to be set further into the chassis.
    - The rear cargo doors should open 270 degrees. On real trucks, there are latches just underneath the box body, that you then move and catch the doors from flailing about.

If there is any confusion, I can grab some photos for reference.
I am not a native english speaker, so i might have worded things oddly.

Great vehicle, I absolutely love it!! The detailing in the interior and throughout the chassis elements is awesome! And, over the past 10 updates (0.31 to 0.40), I've somehow developed an affection to big diesel Inline-6s as far as their sounds are concerned! This new 12.8l I6 is no exception! :D

But I can't seem to be able to find any control for the splitter in the interior. I initially thought the small lever behind the gear shifter/dial is for the splitter, but it turns out it's for the parking brake. So where is it?

Also, there are no dashboard switches for controlling the height of the air suspension (especially for the rear axles) and for (un)locking the fifth wheel - the latter can only be done through the vehicle settings.

Great trucks and great work as usual. It really does need a dump truck version though and a euro truck racing version would be nice.

They're not meant to be there when the flatbed is installed anyway. But ok, since they're offered with this upfit too, I have to agree with what you say.

or if you could do what you can do with the H-Series, where you can replace it with a more modern infotainment system that's both a radio and a map.

LOVE this thing, but could we please get a proper UV map/template for it, the one in the files is gray shapes, makes skinning very hard

I love this truck but I think it still lacks a bit of customization. I would love too see a bullbar, roof lightbar and horns etc.
