It really depends. At my school the end of year trip was some of the staff taking about half of the year to eastern Europe to get drunk at nights and travel around that area for a couple days. Apparently it was really good. One guy tied his phone (galaxy note) to a helium baloon under the impression it would float down to the ground. It actually hit the ground with force and smashed the whole screen. Then again he didn't pass 3 AS levels (passed 2 quite well but failed maths and physics) so wasn't allowed to come back. To be honest on most school trips people seem to get drunk on the nights and enjoy the trip as a whole. But i have never been on one before so i couldn't say from experience.
Highschool trips are a hell of a lot different than middle school trips. All the ones at my middle school were apparently awful. Never went on one. :| I can't imagine them being good, anyway, based on how we were treated at school. idk Maybe my middle school was just worse than most. Everyone that went there hates the place. Most recall it as the worst years of their life, which is true for me.
On the outside, my school is good and wins awards, but on the inside it's shit. All of the food in the cafeteria is made from the same thing No air conditioning Absolutely braindead teachers - "I can't hear any volume!" - turns on speaker Unreasonably strict teachers (not for me but the faggots with their iPhones always out) Phone out = taken away No hunting/camo apparel Buses are worse than a couple tours in Vietnam - we still have first gen Chevrolets as regular run buses.
Am I the only one who had a decent middle school life? As for field trips, I had a couple all day trips throughout middle school in coach buses. This year I walked to a Mexican restaurant in the only field trip I've had. I don't remember if I even had any last year.

School in general was one of the worst experiences of my life, high school was fine but middle and elementary school was fucked up. So very, very fucked up...
Why are you complaining about middle school? Nothing happens in middle school, just do your work as told and you'll move onto high school, THAT'S where things start to matter.
It's exactly my point. It's so much work but none of it matters at all. I pretty much blew it off and it still sucked. Highschool is much better. Easiest year since elementary school.
u wot m8 It's been a while since I was in middle school, but I'm pretty sure it's more than just daycare - you have classes, assignments and tests - while the marks don't really matter, what you learn in middle school is applicable to what you do in high school. So it does matter, it's just not a big fuss.
TrafficLoad is the bad one. It just forces the continuous spawning of cars in an attempt to fix the taxi bug until it eats your VRAM and the buildings can't load when you drive into a new area. The amount of time it takes for it to go wrong will vary depending on your VRAM amount, but even though I have 3GB it happens pretty quickly on mine. The one I use is Budgeted. It works at the "source" of the taxi bug instead of trying to fight against it, so it actually works. The only downside is that it needs more setup. You need to change the line in its .ini file to whatever the size of your vehicles.img is in bytes, but other than that it actually works as opposed to the other ones out there.
Middle school was far harder than highschool so far. Way, way harder. I had far more homework. That coupled with teachers that treat you like shit and no freedom at all makes it suck. And of course it's applicable to what you learn in highschool. My deal with school is that I learn the stuff that the teacher says in lectures, but I hate doing work. Middle school was tons of work. I always did good on tests but my grades were brought down by tons of missing assignments because I didn't do shit. It was just a horrible experience all around. Every aspect of it is awful.
