First and for most good game but ya'll have issues you need to address and soon. I had a 1965 chevy pick up with a 640 hp - 590 tq supercharged 383 on street tires that hooked up infinitely better then your basic 190 hp truck in this game next is your damn parts selector... what the hell guys it worked fine until you tried to make it better... Try this if its not broke don't fix it... now i have to select something 2-3 times before it sticks but then changes something else! Also putting vehicles into a zip file who's dumb idea was that... now to do any adjustment work i have to start the game find what i don't like quit the game open the zip (since the zip wont open while in use) then start the game all over again.. you took something that was fast and simple (open car file adjust hit ctrl+r and keep going) then totally made it worse... force feed back... just get rid till you have it figured out... everything will be fine then out of no where my wheel will just start turning itself in whatever direction it chooses even just starting the game it does this wtf guys really... End rant
A: Eh, what. Your 640hp truck has more power than a 190hp truck? ok then. B: Parts selector works fine if you click the part you want twice, no more no less it never changes. Will likely be fixed in the next update. C: Extract the folder from the .zip smartass. They load just fine, like always :| D: Force feedback works fine, you need to setup some wheels and sometimes mess with some settings to get it to work. It is work in progress and wayyy better than nothing.
Umm, Sounds like you want the game to be reality... Correct? Listen. its a digital world, not the real world. Its 1's and 0's, no bigger no smaller. If you think BeamNG isnt good ennough, Go use reality as a simulation, and wreck your car in the process Its several times more fun in reality than in the digital world! >:3 No insult intended.
I'm disappointed, I thought you'd bring up real problems... but all we have is complaints about kinks in some WIP features and some kid whining that there's no 700 horsepower version of the d15.
I have no idea whatsoever as to why "hooked up" means it has alot of traction... even google couldn't tell me that.
1: ?????????????? What? 2: WIP things tend to break, the problem has been fixed and will be released in the next patch. 3: The new file system is a lot better than the old. Now you don't have to mess with the main directory(This also stops Steam messing things up with each update). You should only put your mod into a zip when you are done with it, while working on it you can have the folder in Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods\vehicles\mymod for example. 4: Force feedback works just fine, however every wheels hardware is different, it's not just plug and play, and requires tuning in hydros.lua. Feel free to disable it yourself or fine tune it, the problem sounds like inverted force, try the following. Open lua\vehicle\hydros.lua, locate; M.wheelFFBaxisdir = 1 Add a negative to the 1, like so M.wheelFFBaxisdir = -1 If that fails and you can't fine tune it for whatever reason, disable it with M.enableFFB = false Please do try to understand the nature of early access games that are under heavy development. Hope my answer solves your problems.
I owe these guys a HUGE apology... and I am sorry... I got in a drunkin fit the other night and bashed on everything i could find not just this game.
If I ever rant like that sober over such petty things I might as well find a nice hole and bury myself in it.
Seriously though, your rant was quite "civilized" and you got specific points across. Definitely seen worse (me included). Done my share of apologizing. You're good.
