So I find the handling, specifically the steering, to be a huge problem. If you try and do any sort of performance driving the car seems to snap wherever you steer it to. Then when you counter steer to correct it, it snaps the opposite direction. Often causing the car to wobble and over steer when simply trying to gain control. Also at high speeds the car always seems to pull to one side, no matter what. I find that little clicks to the left or right work best, but for any sharp corners the inertia from the car is impossible to control Anyone else having issues like this?
It's recommended to use a wheel with this game, that way you can actually control how much you are steering. With the arrow keys on a keyboard, the wheel is very swiftly rotated left and right, which explains why the car "snaps" when steering. Go to cockpit view (key 'c' to alternate camera view) and you'll see what I mean.
Chances are there's a variable somewhere in the config files that can slow the dynamic steering down a bit, but the bottom line here, I guess, is that using digital input to control analogue functions will always suck really hard.
I have also the feeling that the physics arent working at high speed. I tried Spin Tires, which uses Havoc and got great mudding/offroad performance. But if the truck drives too fast, the player loses control. Here its the same in my opinion.
