Ah yeah, I knew the rear end didn't look like the Galant. And I don't recognize that name. Or the car. I'm probably just stupid.
I've seen them around, but not too popular. I assumed it was a Galant. Clarkson did a review on a V6 AWD one and he loved it.
Its funny because over here they are extremely common cars. My dad even owns one (His is a 1994 model though)
So, what do you guys think of big SUV's, like the Suburban/Yukon and the Ford Excursion? Personally, I think they are awesome My dad had a 99 Suburban with the 6.5 TD, then he bought a 7.3 Excursion TD and then he went mental and bought an 8.1L Suburban. He broke me with his love for big american cars, and now I love them. He currently owns a 2008 Pajero.
Spanish slang word meaning 'He who fiddles with himself for sexual gratification'. Unknowingly used by a major automobile manufacturer who took the more academic translation of the word to mean 'Straw Dealer' I heard that the word Pajero means something in native american aswell, and that is why it's called the Montero over there
I'm not a fan of big SUVs like that. We have a Land Rover Disco 2, and that's as big as I like. The only reason I would buy an SUV is to offroad during the weekend, and commute during the week, which never happens for most.
We actually had a three seater expedition for a couple of months, but it had allot of issues and the seller was a big douche, so we returned it to him because he lied about the condition of the car. It was nice though, and the 5.4 packed a punch.
I just watched a bad drivers of SoCal & I noticed a few expeditions in that video (In the background mostly), Holy crap they are gorgeous.
I honestly do not love them. Regardless £95000 buys you this: http://www.ultimasports.co.uk/Evo/Coupe 1020bhp, no ABS, no traction control, no power steering, wonderful
I really like the new Tahoe. Especially the PPV/9C1, not sure what they call them these days. I need to pick a few of these up at auctions.
Well, yeah. They look a bit similar. Doesn't really bother me. And if you flip them around they look like the new F150 headlights.
Holy shit. That actually looks like it could be a real truck. I don't like the new Yukons at all. Ugly. The Tahoe/Suburban I can take though. Not bad looking.
and speaking of the ford expedition we had ours towed to the local ford dealership, so should be up and running soon - - - Updated - - - no, you really dont for one those grilles are abnormally large, and it looks horrible it's made by GM, so it probably won't even make it off the dealership floor (gm was fine and all in the 90's, but now i wouldn't even trust them to make a decent burger) the only car i would trust that comes from GM (although not really) is the chevy SS, since it's not ACTUALLY a gm vehicle other then the fact that they are the parent company of the company that makes it
I like to see you hating on GM in literally the same post that you talk about how your family's ~7 year old expedition has been in the shop for like 2 months because the ECU shit itself. GM and Ford equally suck if you ask me. They have their good and bad cars too etc. I don't understand people who hate on GM but swear by Ford and vice versa. Doesn't make sense. We can all agree that Chrysler sucks though.
I've had nothing but good luck with Fords, so I swear by them (except the Expedition, don't buy an Expedition (actually, maybe they fixed the reliability issues with the new EcoBoost one, who knows)). I don't hate GM cars anymore, but I'm not even close going around recommending them. My Sonoma does nothing but leak oil, and it's only got 96k miles on it (the damn valve covers cracked). Also, Ford didn't need the U.S. population's tax dollars to stay running during the recession. Chrysler didn't want to take the care packages, but they needed to or they would go bankrupt. GM took everything when they didn't need it. I have also almost fallen in love with Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge. I really want a Durango. But, as always, buy Japanese. Doesn't matter what it is, but go Japanese.
