Wow this has just gotten better by the minute. The first version=great and this version now makes me think this is just epic.

I'm still having texture errors for the interior on the latest version.

The prop shaft is basically just one beam between the transmission and the rear axle. If it breaks, the engine quits. It certainly is possible to make such a slider shaft using slidenodes by just using two nodes and two beams, but I doubt creating new meshes and relative complex jbeams weighs up to just altering the beam setting of the original beam. :p And I'm not updating this mod again *soon*. Maybe, just maybe, it's something for a future update.
The reason why (I think) it breaks when you jump the car is that the front suspension is a bit to soft and you'll 'land' on it's bottom/transmission/rear axle causing it to break. I wanted a relative soft spring with a strong damper, but I think it's too weak. The prop shaft indeed breaks a bit soon when you jump it, but then again, remember you're jumping a mid 70's US sportscar, not a Baja bug :p
It now sometimes doesn't break in crashes when you expect it should... It's difficult to strengthen it bit to keep it realistic.

Are you guys sure you've installed the v0.2.3? And deleted the old mod and both the .dae and materials cache? (See the first post for how to) If it mod was corrupt there will probably more people complain about it.

    ---

And still great to see many nice replies, both in this thread and the community screenshots :D

I wouldn't mad if he stopped working on this set of vehicles, just end up in an ER with something stabbed through my neck.

Back at my favorite getaway hidey hole in DRI takin' some time off from the map.

And I'm not updating this mod again *SOON*

Fixed. It's still early in the morning, you know. :p

Probably when the game is updated and this one needs updating or I can add new game features I'll add new stuff. I meant I won't release a new update for a new relative small part :p

( I'm getting used to that sliding prop shaft idea)

Sometimes when I crash the Sedan V8 AT Towpackage, either the front bumper or fascia glitches out. I have had this occur with other vehicles in the mod too, but I can't exactly remember which ones. I am using the latest version of the mod. Here are some pics:

Just a tip, for the presets, get some welded diffs on those derby cars

Also, a stock fuel tank on them is sort of silly. I just remove them. Would be cool to have one mounted in the back seat area.

^^^^ Yep, all of that! Also, make them gears a little steeper. 4.10s, 4.56's, 4.88s would all be a lot better than the slug of a 3.23 we got now!

oooh, if you could do that for all the rwd vehicles, that'd be pretty epic!

He's probably referring to the insane clipping going on there. Old guardrail mod and it happens with all vehicles.

Not sure if it has been said before, but when you look into the race exhaust you can look right through it.

Minor bug: the chrome plates around the facelifted headlights shifts from side to side :p

I don't know how you did that, but I checked the old frontbumper jbeam and it is possible to break some beams causing nodes to 'set loose' causing huge deformations. I'll increase the beam strength, thanks for the heads up.

I'll include some more diff's, that is one of the most easy things to create :p I'll include welded diffs in the derby presets. I'm not sure I'll include a new fuel tank... We'll see.

Hmmm... I thought I fixed that. Oh well... Thanks!

That is weird... The only thing I can think of what might be wrong is that the headlightframes have a wrong nodegroup. But that isn't the case... It's exactly the same as the regular and oldstyle headlightframes and it has the same nodegroup as the headlights and grill. Which aren't moving...

It might be useful to release an update sometime soon :p

Small thing, but greatly affects the appearance of the woodie wagon. Shouldn't really look like someone has nailed old floorboards to the side of a wagon.
    Looks really strange. (no offense)

How about something like this, more of a solid looking wood paneling that isn't broken up or appears out of line with the other panels,
maybe a richer brown walnut like color would suit any body color. The current color of the wood paneling is also quite dark n dirty.

    1969_Ford_LTD_Country_Squire.jpg 28610160001_large.jpg

Otherwise awesome mod, the new double horizontal orientation of the headlights gives it a classic look, much better than the original moonhawk.
Far better really. Love the tail lights on the limo the centered smaller reverse light looks great. If you have the time the alterations to the woodie would make this the jewel of the pack.

Thank you for taking the time and releasing these otherwise quality mods, and where the hell is your dev badge? is there a petition I can sign?

I have to say, I'm really enjoying the new version of this mod. I do have a problem with the Ute/Station versions (which has probably already been mentioned before in some form or another): the rear taillight setup doesn't look right to me. I seriously think a lighting setup similar to the '78 Holden Sandman Ute would make more sense visually:
    2yv8egi.jpg 8129_6.jpg
Hell, I think it'd look good if you moved the taillights down onto the bumper section to look like the 1978 El Camino:
    ElCamino1056_plate.jpg
It's up to you though; otherwise, I'm loving the mod. :D

EDIT: Just noticed the sandman idea was posted in one of the first few pages of the thread, sorry. :p Still, I think it'd work a lot better than the current rear fascia layout.

Hey, I was super confused trying to get it to work. I fixed it by going into the "vehicles" folder that shows up in the main folder for BeamNG in Documents and deleting the moonhawk sedan folder within it. My cache and everything was clear before, but this is what finally fixed the problem for me.
