I have a normal computer and i have to run the game on its lowest settings. Is it possible for the Dev to work on making it run smoother.

    "Specifications"

What brand and model are the components in your computer? Not all computers are made equal - cheap computer have weaker parts that do not run programs as fast. I have built my own computer with high-end parts and therefore I get good performance.

Pretty sure that falls into the 'low-end' PC category. That CPU isn't particulièrement fast, you didn't give any info about which video card configuration it has. According to the official site it can have on of these:

    GeForce GT 520M MXM 3.0A (1 GB)
    GeForce GT 540M MXM 3.0A (2 GB)
    Radeon 6550A MXM 3.0A (2 GB)
    Radeon HD7450A MXM 3.0A (1 GB)
    Radeon HD7650A MXM 3.0A (2 GB)

    None particulièrement fast either.

Yeah, so you can't be expecting to run any recent games on that, plus the fact that BeamNG is highly CPU intensive, as the CPU is doing all the complex physics.

You meet (and fall below occasionally) the low-end requirements for the game, therefore you can run the game on lowest settings

Actually his processor benchmarks at 7117 which can easily run a few cars at 60.

Sadly that is literally one of the crappiest GPUs ever. That will never run a modern game well.

Of course it is possible, but is it something that's worth working on now? Most probably not, they have their hands full. :)

The graphics engine will be improved, lets just hope they rewamp Torque 3D and bring full Vulkan support. With som effort T3D could be a big deal.
