Tis but a flesh wound.... I hope... They don't total it. Have to wait till Monday to find out if they are gonna total it. Have that feeling I got in school when I did bad on a test and then hid it from my parents even though they showed up just after.
Ah shit... That sucks man. I bet the deciding factor for whether or not it's totaled is if it damaged the A or B pillar. Even if there isn't any, might still be totaled. You know how insurance companies are about that stuff. Good luck.
Damage doesn't look too bad judging form the pic, but considering the cars age they might consider it totaled. From my experience most insurance companies will total a 15/20+ year old car regardless of the severity of damage. Glad your ok, thats whats important.
There is a 1"x1" that is about an 1/8th" deep behind the fender in the bottom door jam. That's the only body damage I've seen. Top of the door won't seal. Doors are like $100. Fender is $200. About $175 in plastic cladding. Car KBB's at $5600 from a dealer. Think I'm safe. If not? Marauder time. 11 years old now. I had two friends with me. I dropped them off after the accident and it rolled over to 113k on the ride home.
Stuck my Sony cdx-gt210 in the focus today, also worked out best way to tap into a 12v switched source for rigging up dashcam. Damaged dashcam mount removing from corsa, ordered another.
I just finished installing new front brake pads and rotors in my E46 M3 today. I definitely like the look of cross drilled rotors over the OEM pair, but I know it probably won't make a difference in the way it brakes. I still need to break the pads in, but it feels quite a bit better than the worn out rotors that were in the car previously. The rear rotors and pads are luckily still in good condition, and don't need to be replaced for a while.
The hood on my Audi decided not to open today Passenger hood pin is somehow stuck. I will deal with the problem tomorrow.
Crashed it into a tree outside the scrap yard and asked if it was worth the taxi fare home. I need to buy a decent car for once.
Fucking seat bolts are rusted and stuck, need to take out the seats to clean the carpet, so PB Blaster save me.
Well I have already proven that you can get a perfectly fine vehicle for under £500. Although I do think it was a bit of a lucky find.
Aw come on man you gotta elaborate on the car/truck. I recognize the early 2000s GM truck cluster. Silverado? Tahoe? Suburban?
looks like a lot like our 2002 trailblazer's. Then again I can't see a trailblazer going past 300k miles though. suburbans and tahoes, yeah. Trailblazers however....not so much considering ours is falling apart at 175k
Raced it against brother. Brother was not made aware of this. He left to go to dad's (next town over), I finished watching an episode of initial d, had a drink etc and decided to chase after him. Still beat him
It looks similar to, but it's not quite my 2000 Silverado's cluster. I'd say its a year or two newer.
I spent £50 on mine. It was just worth doing, it lasted a year. but this past month it's been worse than horrendous. But so far my first car was a fiat panda, which I hated. and a £50 unbelievably road legal ford escort... which was okay... till it started to die. I'm gonna hunt for a subaru outback or something.
