Error with Controller Input?

I've attempted to set up the control maps, and I don't know if it works, because in the log, I get this:



Can anyone figure out what I've done wrong?

 

To me it just looks like its loading the input maps.

 

Well, the wheel I'm using is meant for an Xbox, so it acts like an Xbox Controller.
None of the maps that are there end up working.

 

its a Mad Catz MC2 racing wheel, correct?

Edit: after reading it again i think it might be configured incorrectly.

 

It ends up saying something along the lines of:
"Attempting to unbind
unbinding failed!"

 

I have the ps3 racing wheel and get the same thing unbinding failed no idea as to what that is. although the game log says it successfully loaded my inputmap but the controller never responds. I have never had an issue with this wheel on any other pc game so far.

 

I think I have the same controller for pc, and I have an input map that seems to work.
Also, the input map must be named mc2racingwheel.inputmap, or maybe madcatzmc2racingwheel.inputmap, and the input map must be placed in "C:\Users\<username>\<wherever_you_put_your_game>\scripts\client\inputmaps\custom" for it to work.

PS: Download for my input map attached.
PSS: This is in the tech demo, so it may not work with the full game, but it should.

 

How do you even connect a controller? dose it work for ps4 controllers?
