To me, everything looked better on CryEngine. Maybe BeamNG can make something for cry engine? I mean, The current engine is good, but I would like to see it in cry engine Compare: That is all.
Yep, it did look good in cryengine. I guess seeing as the core of beamng will be available for game developers to buy as physics middleware, people will be able to re-implement it in to cryengine, and other engines.
That explains a lot. I agree that things looked significantly better in CryEngine, but the price difference between the two is huge. I was wondering why they made the shift.
Unless someone cares to donate $1.2 mil to allow them to make the shift back to CE3. I've got $14. Will that help?
Well Torque3D is also completely open source so i think that is part of it too. I think the idea is they can improve things engine-wise as they go along. They used to work with Orge which was open source, so nice to work with open source stuff again I guess. T3D is just not as visually refined as CryEngine, but not many engines are.
Ouch. Well you can always hope Or many we can get the model for cry engine and be able to mess around with it?
They should release cryengine 3 on the techdemo so it's not profitable use and they don't have to pay for it
