I am not a very active user on this forum and was thinking about changing that by making this post, and i figured it would be nice to get some pointers on my second build (also if i am not mistaken i built my first system with some help from you guys).
First off i am aware this is way overkill and isn't power to money efficient.
Also my etc. for this build should be around August since the parts i want to use aren't for sale yet.
[SUB]And estimated cost is around 4000 Dollars[/SUB]

so the list goes as following:

CPU
I7-6700K (Skylake-S)

GPU
GTX 980TI (x2)

RAM
Kingstone DDR4 3000MHz (4x4GB)

PSU
Corsair RM850 (850W)

SSD
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB (x2)

MOBA
??? (LGA-1151)

Cooling (GPU)
Kraken G10 (x2)
Kraken X41 (x2)
Fan LED 140mm (x2)

Cooling (CPU)
Kraken X41 (1x140mm)
Fan LED 140mm

Case Fans
Fan LED 120mm (x3)
Fan controller (Grid+)

Case
NZXT N450 (black/red)

And now for the things i am not sure about. The problem i got now is how am i supposed to fit 3 different Kraken radiators in this case?
So far i have 3 different solutions that might work but i am unsure because of the added length of these fully assembled watercooled loops got.
Option 1 (preferred). Buy 3 Kraken X41 (1x140mm) for GPU and CPU.
Option 2. Buy 2 Kraken X31 (1x120mm) for GPU and 1 Kraken x41 (1x140mm) for CPU.
Option 3. Buy 3 Kraken X31 (1x120mm) for GPU and CPU.
They would be mounted as exhaust on top and back to prevent hot air moving inside the case.
I will have to figure out which fans i'm going to use after i find out what rads to use.

Looking forward for some input on this ;)

Dude. Post this thread when this stuff actually comes out. You'll get more replies.

Funny, I've been thinking about a system in the fall on par with this. None the less, Skylake will have to make a MAJOR dent in BeamNG performance
or it's no go for me. I had a dream last night I was installing a new Intel 32 core "beamlake" processor in my laptop.:D

An 'overkill' build with such lousy cooling? Laughable ;). If you want an over-the-top system go for custom built setups with dual pumps, fullcover blocks on pretty much everything and external rad with eight 180 mm fans in push-pull arrangement, all governed by independent controller like Aquaero XT. You're gonna add at least another grand or two to the final price, plus, it's gonna be far more efficient and will look much better :).

fully custom built water loop systems are is a very expensive investment (we are talking at least 700 USD more),
this is why i won't do the upgrade and wait maybe another year or so and see if it's actually worth it (my current rig is still good enough, just not good enough for 1440p).
My plans now is to just buy a 980 TI now and see if the new intel architecture is worth it, if not i will wait for another line of cpu's to come out.

I live in Norway so everything is expensive here sadly.

The build is overkill but I like overkill as long as you can afford it.

CPU: It hasn't come out yet but based on what the specs will be, it will be a great CPU if not better than the 4790k.

Motherboard: You don't have a specific one listed but get one with a gen 3 x4 m.2.

GPU: The 980 Ti is one on the best GPUs on the market because It is cheaper than a titan x but performs better in games. Also putting it in SLI will double the performance. Since it has 6gb vram, you can also do 4k on it with or without SLI but keep the SLI 980 Ti

Cooling the GPU: Don't get the kraken g10. Get the corsair hg10 N980. It supports the 980 Ti and other coolers. To answer your question on how to put 3 radiators in your computer? I worked on the Corsair air 240. I also found a picture of a build with the air 240. It had 2 HG10 GPU brackets and a radiator for the CPU. The air 240 has two 120mm fan mounts in the front so the radiators they used were the corsair h75 120mm radiators. They used the first one for the CPU and they mounted it in the front using the top fan mount with the fan using the pull configuration. The GPU radiator mounted on the bottom fan mount using Push Pull because that was the only way to fit the 2nd radiator in the front. The last radiator went to the 120mm fan mount on the back chanber of the case where you would stuff your cables because the case uses a dual chamber design. Also, there was extra room for two 120mm fans for exhaust on the top.

Cooling the CPU: I already talked about that with cooling the GPU

Ram: The ram is good but I prefer Kingston hyperx ram or corsair vengeance or dominator platinum ram.

SSD: The reason I want you to get a motherboard with m.2 x4 gen 3 is because you can install the Samsung SM951 m.2 ssd. I have one with my computer and it will be twice as fast as the 850 evo. Yes it is expensive but if you don't have a limit in your budget, get the SM951.

PSU: The rm850 is a good choice but you have a lot of high end components and you need better efficiency. I recommend the hx1000i PSU from corsair.

Case fans: I was looking and you want LED fans but what color? Anyways, Get the SP120 LED fans. They come in red, white, blue, green, and and many other colors.

Case: I recommend the Corsair Air 240. You can fit everything I was taking about in there and it is in a small form factor. dennis-sys3.jpg dennis-sys5.jpg

This is a picture of the air 240 with the 3 radiators cooling the gpus and the cpu.

I really hope this helps.

1. SLI doesn't double performance, you gain about 70-80%.
2. You really don't. A more efficient PSU will draw less power, makes no difference. 850w should be more than enough for SLI 980 Ti's and a 95W CPU.
3. I wouldn't get an Air 240. It's a mATX case, so you're limited to smaller boards and 2 graphics cards. At least get the 540, or an Obsidian series case (can recommend the 450D).

This is also most likely a dead thread. Unless op is still planning that build...

For mATX I'd vote bitfenix prodigy m any day. Christ its weird as fuck. But it aint fugly like alot of these mATX cases and will take a nice old dual gpu gaming rig, with water cooling to boot although not as readily as its itx sibling.

I like the Prodigy M, but I'd go for an Air 240. It's really a great little case. Amazing airflow, good for water cooling, no ugly HDD cages, and best cable management ever. Looks pretty nice too, although nowhere near the Obsidian series (IMO anyway).

I could've bought an Air 540 actually, had better airflow and cable management, but the 450D was worth it just for looks.
