Before you say anything about XBox controllers, I am Broke and can't afford one. But anyways, I have an afterglow wireless controller for PS3, and it works fine on Vice City, But not Beam NG Drive 3.8.3, it even worked on previous versions before this update, How do i set this up in Beam NG 3.8.3?

I have the same problem, but I have a PS4 controller, I don't know if this will work for you, but I use a program called DS4 for windows, it turns the PS4 controller into a 360 controller and makes the touch pad a mouse, works well but the right sticks in BeamNG is inverted, I don't know if there is another program like DS4, maybe there is a DS3 for a ps3 controller? Look for both, but maybe DS4 will help solve your problem :)

Do not use ds3 or 4. Ever.

    Use scp.

As mentioned umpteen billion times. Ds3 and 4 use motioninjoy as a back end, motioninjoy is malware.

DS4 tool doesn't use motionjoy like ds3 does.

Edit: ok maybe it does the tool i use used to be called ds4 tool but after updates it's called input mapper and i know this one doesn't use motionjoy.

SORRY FOR BUMPING. Are you sure? I have 4 malware programs on my computer, I've had DS4 for over a year! and I've ran many tests, many whole computer scans and a ton of rkill scans, and it has NEVER picked up DS4. Not even when installing it did it warn me, nothing... and I've never had a problem...

Is it beyond your abilities to search up motioninjoy which is the ds3/ds4 back end. It logs data from your hard drive back to a Chinese server. Dicks with the registry and its very method of operation is known to corrupt windows USB device handling capabilities.

SCP actually works better than ds3/ds4 ever did and is open source allowing its non malware status to be verified.

You mind providing a link? It's this, right?

I'm probably using one of the bad ones (it's working well though), haven't really done much research on it. Here's a link. I'm doing a clean OS reinstall soon, so would be nice to get rid of potential shit software.

Does this work with Bluetooth? I couldn't get my adapter to work with my driver, with my quick try.

Both links you provide are for SCP Driver Package.

All I found results of how DS4 was an alternitive to motionjoy... nothing about it having anything to do with DS4, if even if it does and there is malware on my computer, its taking its time to do damage... also, I'm contantly watching my upload speeds, I have a guage, I left my computer on over night while it defragged, 0.0kb uploaded...

Just use scp. It's verified to be non-malware. It's quick and easy to change it over. Avoiding issues with iffy programs is about being proactive not waiting for something to go wrong then fixing it. Most malware and viruses are designed to be silent and in some cases non-detectable, so if you can, go for what is known to be safe. Otherwise you could be playing a dangerous game with your data and security on the line.

As an aside, it's debatable whether defrag is even worth the effort. :p

It can be quite effective if done right. You just need to understand the workings of the hard drive itself. E.g. you would put the OS and installed programs to the outer edge of the disks, and of course consolidating the data. Pictures, text files and other personal data you would put inside of the disk, where performance is much lower. With advanced tools you could also individually sort folders and files on the platter.

Most defraggers will just consolidate in a stupid matter without actually giving you any control.

*You don't defrag SSDs, so keep disk defragmentation to actual hard drives! But you can only get so much out of the HDD, the potential is not big as HDDs are slow as fuck.
