Just some questions about the new updates released

    I have some questions about the new updates,

    1. why when ever there is a new update does it get rid of all my mods and maps?

    2. why doesnt the temp of the vehicle work, they have had it forever and it hasnt worked

    3.I know this game is still in early access but it dosent seem very optimized yet. (runs like crap)

    1. because you did not install them correctly, the new repo will fix that mostly
    2. the temp is not simulated yet
    3. its a simulation, not an arcade racer that runs on a netbook: you need a powerful computer. See also: http://wiki.beamng.com/Requirements

    ok thanks for the answers and for the computer i have a fx-8350 16gb of ram and 2 980's and it will barely run on low settings

    AMD CPUs are known to perform not that great for some strange reason. See: BANANA-Benchmark-Results-Comparison

    About SLI (multi-GPU): for some reason the performance is worse than using one card only atm, we still need to test this :/

    Are you in power saving mode? (Windows power plan) Make sure you change it to high performance.

    I have a similar setup (fx8350, 16gb of ram, although it's a single gtx970, not SLI 980). In my experience it is possible to achieve 60fps in almost all levels (or 40fps in worst case) at 1080p using "High" graphics preset.

    Please check the "Options" menu, "Graphics" tab, to make sure it's using a dedicated graphics card, and not any possible integrated card.
