Re: 0.4.0.x Current bugs and help thread Currently researching on this bug. The game should use the Windows resolution, which apparently isn't. What is your monitor maximum resolution and refresh rate? Are you using multi-monitor setup?
Re: 0.4.0.x Current bugs and help thread My monitor's max res is 1680x1050 (yeah, it's a 4:3 classic) and it runs that at 60hz. 1 monitor setup. I can run 1080 p but only at 30 hz which looks just terrible.
Re: 0.4.0.x Current bugs and help thread I've been having a couple intermittent bugs. Sometimes the Messages app will stop working for no apparent reason. Deleting and replacing the app always fixes it, however. Also, sometimes the reset car button (R) will stop working in freeroam, as well as vehicle select (CTRL+E) and part select (CTRL+W). Once they quit working, the only way I've found to restore them is to exit and restart. This seems to happen with stock and modded cars and doesn't seem to follow any predictable pattern. It just sometimes quits working.
Re: 0.4.0.x Current bugs and help thread Try removing the 'BeamNG.Drive' folder in 'MyDocuments' (Backup the mods folder if you want), just to be sure, and retry please.
Re: 0.4.0.x Current bugs and help thread I think I also noticed the input Problem, but it looks like it's a focus problem. Sometimes I need to click on the actual game screen first as if the input focus was held by one of the UI apps or something like that.

Re: 0.4.0.x Current bugs and help thread I couldn't do it on East Coast. I remember not being able to do it on other maps as well, but I don't remember which ones. Btw, can you get notifications when someone responds to your post/comment? I find myself going to my profile and the clicking the threads to which I have responded and then searching for my comment.

Re: 0.4.0.x Current bugs and help thread When you pres J in scenario the time keep going for me. For exaple press J at start of some scenario and wait 30 seconds. When you press it again time jumps on 0:30:00... (feature or bug?)
Re: 0.4.0.x Current bugs and help thread I'm wondering if the steering has been drastically changed. Previous to the update my steering was very precise, (I use an Xbox 360 Controller) and it was easy to control the cars with basically instant reaction. (No input lag). Now the cars feel different and there seems to be some major input lag. Like the car will start turning maybe about .2-.4 seconds after I start to turn. This makes the game almost unplayable, especially with cars that have sensitive steering (Bolide, Covet). I was wondering if others were having issues with steering as well or if there was a way to make it how it was before the update. I will attempt to try it with an Xbox One Controller and see if that is different. Thanks!
Re: 0.4.0.x Current bugs and help thread There is now input filtering. It is meant to make the steering rotation speed as close at what a normal person can achieve. Before it was way to fast. I believe the 'speed' of the filtering is tied to the GFX frames. So if you are already getting low FPS, the filtering will not be as fast as intended. Currently for the keyboard it's not possible to tweak/remove it, but since it's still a WIP, it's very possible that it options for that are already on the ToDo list. If you use a controller instead you can turn it off.
Re: 0.4.0.x Current bugs and help thread This is a rather content creation related issue than a game related bug...So basically after the latest update the game needs a restard if I want to change anything in the mods/vehicles folder. Things like checking the .dae or texture progress in game becomes really time taking and frustrating :/ Does anyone know a way around this? It worked fine yesterday. Here is the error...it basically says "This action cannot be completed because the file is open in BeamNG" I tried switching cars between importing but no help.

But if it is the same as 'Out of range', make sure your game is up to date, as a new hot fix was released a few hours ago which should fix that problem. If it is already updated, delete the BeamNG.Drive folder in MyDocuments and retry
Re: 0.4.0.x Current bugs and help thread What do you mean?...Of course it's not in a zip...It would take even longer if I had to unzip change the .dae and rezip the whole thing to check my model out in game...As I said it worked well yesterday and every other day before that. Edit. It's fine...it seems to update the model and texture without having to restart the game if I have the car in the content/vehicles folder.
Re: 0.4.0.x Current bugs and help thread Still having issues with resolutions... Now I only have 2 1080p and 1768x992..., both 16:9...Devs, I need 4:3, and 1680x1050, sorry, but some of have old monitors.
