Lucky you, max I get is 35-40 with shader and lighting on lowest (mesh and texture highest). If I put shader/lighting max, the fps dives to about 10 or 15.

The game quits after I try to run it. Same result for EC, so I assumed it's an memory problem. That's the reason, for me at least, that I regret DRI will be gone. Although barely it runs, if I open and close the world editor the game quits itself. I'm on a 32 bits system.

EDIT; now also at Hirochi Raceway the game quits itself after I open and close the world editor... :(

For how much stuff to cast shadows and forests in particular there is, it is running very smooth.

ECA can't compare in terms of FPS

Also awesome map as it stands. I just set settings to max and drive around slowly at 10fps, that is how awesome the map is.
I run 32x version, perhaps if 64x one gets fixed they both might be playable.

Word on the street is that DRI will not be gone, only preserved in the repository. Is it a competition? My fps on JRI with all settings high without dynamic reflections start at 30 - 50 fps, drop to 25 - 40 fps inland, and 45-60 on the coast.

On JRI I only get about 25-30 FPS, (usually around 30-33ish, sometimes 40+ in some areas) Otheriwse on other maps, including East Coast USA, I get 40-60 FPS.

I love how everyone is having FPS problems with JRI and I'm just sitting here like, "Yup, runs just fine here."

Same here. Both rigs, no difference between JRI and any other map, except ECA.

While ECUSA is the only map that severly chugs on my system, all the maps have small areas or views that take the FPS below 60.

JRI runs about as well as Derby, which is among the best performing forested maps, so that's nice.

But ECUSA drops to low 30s in some spots, regardless of settings. Mainly around the town.

I'm still working on the SBR4 daily; I'm just at the UV mapping stage, which doesn't produce any exciting media. Once it's UVed, I can texture it and there'll be something worthwhile to look at ;)

The only visible thing today was shrinking the tires a little bit (about 5%) which improves the stance and overall look a little.

No. UV = Shape is definitive.
And the current shape is more than good.
